    Yeah best in these situations to just take it on the chin IMO... They will get you for something no matter how well you talk your way out of it... So if I did want to fight it, how would I take it to court? The defect doesn't have an option to have it dealt with by a court like you get on speeding tickets...

    Not 100% sure... But there is nothing here that says I have to pay anything - IE I have no form to take to QLD Transport to pay with... Hopefully nothing arrives in the mail though...

    I guess I got off lightly all things considered, and it won't be a hassle to clear it... It just gives me the irrits when all they bloody do is target import driver's when there are much more serious traffic offences out there, as well as plenty of DANGEROUSLY unroadworthy cars on the roads...
