Hi mate, I've done this mod, you will need to put the whole GTR diff, shafts and hubs onto your subframe. You will need to use GTR struts and lower arms too, as the GTS-t ones have different mounts. You will also need to put the GTS-t flange on the diff to meet up with your tail shaft. It's a lot of frigging around but it's well worth doing, the GTR diff is so much better it's not funny. Bobby.

Hi guys, I have a problem on my R32. It has the GTR rear diff / drive shafts / hubs. Ever since I put this setup in, it has had a loud humming grindy noise from the rear left. When I go around a left bend, it's silent. When I go around a right bend, it's louder. Recently, it also goes TOCK TOCK TOCK around right bends. Loudly, from the rear left. What I always thought was a wheel bearing might now be a CV. Anyway, my question is, is it possible for the CV to be making this constant grinding noise that goes away when turning left, or is it likely that both my CV and hub need to be replaced? Hey people, I have a problem with my car (R32 GTS-t) - It's not really posessed, that's just a joke. But I seriously thought it was the first time this happened. If my car is cold (and I mean cold, like when its 7am and the windows are still frosty), and I turn right (slightly hard - not throwing it around - usually roundabouts set this off), I get a loud... 'screaming' noise coming from about where the ECU is located. That is, a high pitched whistle that is quite loud, and most of the time stops when I straighten up, but a few times has persisted until I turn the ignition off and on again. Is there anything to do with the HICAS in the left kick panel? Could this be the ECU? I'm expecting jokes back but thanks in advance for any ideas on what the frig is causing this... it freaks my girlfriend out to no end... Cheers lol! Bobby.

Thanks for the replies. I can do that sort of thing. I've done a lot of google-ing (I guess I should have first) and have the info I need... but it seems it's going to have to be a remap as you guys suggest. Can I be frigged doing a remap just for rev limiter? Probably not but I've just had the stupid bee*r blow my O2 sensor so maybe I should before the damn thing does something major. That'll teach me for hitting it to stop tailgaters

Hey people, Does anybody know whether it is possible to alter the rev limiter value of a stock ECU while it is in the car? I have replaced the stock chip in my car (R32 GTS-t) with a different chip, and the new tune either has no rev limiter or it's higher than 8000rpm (i don't want to find out past there!)... So, can I use my consult cable and some nifty software to change the value? Or is it required that I take the chip out and have someone re-map it? If it's the second one, I can't be stuffed and will stick with the Bee*r limiter. Thanks in advance for any replies!! Bobby.

Yep that's how mine is wired. BTW. don't use it too much, it blew my O2 sensor...

My mate who's an auto elec put a diode between the low and high beams, so the low's stay on when i use high beam. He just did it cos it means more light, but surely an auto elec will do it for you for like $20? Easy fix...

Hey people, I have a question about my gearbox on my R32 GTs-t... I'm pretty sure the neutral position switch isn't connected. I think this because firstly I can't enter HICAS diagnostic mode (which requires it to be in neutral), and secondly the rev's don't change when I put it in gear (with the clutch in - it always used to, and my mate's gtst does too)... ... neither of these had a problem until I got my gearbox reco'd. I just want to know 1) is it important? and 2) is it likely disconnected inside the box? or likely it's the connector on the side of the box? Any advice on this would be appreciated! Thanks! Bobby.

Hey guys, I've got the R32 GTR rear hubs in my GTS-t as part of a diff conversion, and the GTR rear shocks I put in are absolutely stuffed. Axle tramp galore, even with all new rear bushes everywhere. I am having trouble finding replacements! Everywhere I go they can only offer me full coilovers for $1400 minimum. I can't afford this at the moment... does anybody know if and where I can get just replacement rear shocks for not too much (less than $400)?? Or... does anybody have some reasonably good rear shocks that would fit that they are willing to part with? Thanks in advance for your help! Bobby.
