I took the car into Nissan today and I asked about various mods and they said that pretty much anything is ok and wont void the warranty as long as the mod was not the direct cause of the broken part. I.e if you make exhaust mods you are fine, if you do a Cobb tune or something like that you are fine unless it was the direct reason that the engine blew up or something like that. They even said that dispite what has been said they can track when the Cobb has been switched on or off or the tune was done and they are ok with it so there is no need to hide it. As far as the VDC goes you can drive with it off but they will be asking questions of you if have a warranty issue while it was turned off. If you are trying to free yourself form snow, sand etc that is fine. Just dont think you can fly around the street wuth it off and blow something up and expect it to be covered by warranty, it all sound reasonable to me. The other pretty much amazing thing they said was that they are more than happy to work on any JDM R35 as they have invested all the money in facilities and staff training so they are more than happy to work on ANY R35. That comment was contrary to pretty much everything that I have read and heard.

Holly crap, what a car. I am amazed at the absolute mind warping acceleration of this car. You could drive it around town all day thinking you were in some luxo European car then flick that left switch to Race and flip the trans to manual and unleash the beast. Flicking those paddles with instant gear changes is a staggering experience. This car is worth every penny and in my opinion everything that it is cracked up to be. I dont find the suspension hard at all it way less stiff in normal mode that my old 350Z and all these gearbox noises and clunking that you hear people talking about, well I must have a quiet one as I couldnt hear all that much. Just a few noises here and there but hell I can live with that in a heart beat. I love it.

I have been reading through the thread below and am interested if this is possible for the 2009 ADM model? As the 09 doesnt have sat nav, ipod conection I am assuming that it wont work. If he flogged it to a potential purchaser imagine how he treated it himself. That has happened to me a couple of times, I just walked away and told them they can keep it. Not saying this is the case with this particular car but it is something to think about.

There was discussion on some forum that it was sold and that it was track only and could never be registered as it was imported under the race/rally guidelines after Nissan had already started selling the GTR in Australia. When I find the link I will post it.

Your comments still prove that $127,000 is where the price should be for a car with that many K's. Its no baragin that is what they are selling for. One could argue that it would be a bargain at $120,000 as that is $5000-$7000 less than average price for an R35 with 30,000 on the clock. Well priced but no bargain.

There was another white one that sold at auction for $125K with around the same k's on it and another grey one on carsales.com.au for $128,800 that I think was tracked a few times and it sold for around $125K as well. So one would assume that for the amount of k's the price is average and not an absolute bargain.

Trying not to be rude but if you are asking that question then I dont think the items are for you.

$1600... please note that these are parts that I have put together not an actual kit that bolts straight on. You will have to fabricate the turbo manifolds yourself. I have more than enough steam pipe bends for the job also the turbo flanges but you will have to get the exhaust manifolds flanges laser cut using a gasket as the template which will be approx $50 to get done. This is not a hard job but as I am getting rid of the car its not something that I am going to sort out prior to the sale.
