Tell your dad, simply put: 'I need to put 98ron fuel, because it's a turbo car and it prevents engine knock' and if he still don't get it 'go into explaining why etc etc.' and if that fails......give up i say!! i.e. take of bat term hold brake peddle a few minutes prior to my resetting the ecu, my stock boost gage would sit half way between +7 mark and the half way on the + side of 0. now it sits just on 3/4 of the full gage, feels slightly, but only slightly slower (good ol seat of the pants dyno), and possibly better fuel but i have only just tanked her up so will have to find out how it afects my mileage. waked in the second half of the bottle of injector cleaner to. some funny things noticed when measuring the voltage on the o2 sensor, 2 wires dead, 2 white, 1 black, recently imported vehicle, im the first australian owner.... so wondering about that one.... and my side fed injecters are covered in purple plastic. what colour are stock 33 s2 injectors ? wondering if one of the previous owners put in some aftermarket squirters, would possibly explain the rich running unless ofcoarse if the standard nissan/nismo injectors are purple in colour. car seems to have been modded in the past slightly and returned to stock prior to import so its a possibility. the bloody o2 sensor jumped from .2-.3 on idle to 12-13v on open throttle, probably misuse of a multimeter

160 in a 90 zone? That wat 70 k's over the speed limit? If you go over 45 or more over hte speed limit that a licence supension of minimum three months. But since u did more u might get more. Sorry to hear, but doode u shouldn't let another w@nk make u speed as much as u did. Would have been better to be annoyed or slowed down than lose ur licence for several months. How did u get home that nite anyway...just out of curiosity.

K if some1 ever wanted to get done for double demeris for this Anzac Day pub hols it would be on our street just about 10 mins ago. An eventful nite out here in sydney's west, watchin CSI and all you hear is some car outside running purely on rims makin a run for it from about wat we could count was about 8 or so cop cars. Some w@nk decided that the best way to get away from coppers is to drive into a col de sac and str8 up some1's lawn. Been standing outside for the last 15 mins freezzing our arse's off to get a lookie at some of the action. Was well worth the frozen bits. Mind you, didn't figure anything out but it was still fun having a chat about wat the doode could have possibly done to deserve a large number of coppers smacking his arse. Oh well, the whole event is a far more interesting show, than this w@nky steven seagal movie the BF is making me watch.

I don't think it's really a matter of who's right and who's wrong. At the end of the day, it's about safety and common sense. Ppl who enter the roundabout even when they see u already coming in or in it is still STOOPID and dangerous. Personally, if ppl are gonna be lazy when it comes to driving safely then that's their prerogative. They can go risk their own lives and kill themselves but doesnt mean that the rest of us on the road wanna be involved in their stupidity. I'd like to keep my car and my life. Road rules are only as good the drivers that use common sense to follow it. :D

Do you guys run crappy oil through first then put the good oil in after? The bf reckons this is the best way to do it. Is this necessary or just a way to give him more time to scratch his arse? :D

They're actually alright cars, zippy for a 1.8L. My sis owned one and I used to drive it around alot, good little cheap relaible car. Don't bother with astra's, my bro has one now and he bought it brand new and has had couple of issues with it already. Toyota engine last you longer anyway than a holden:D

I've been on the road awhile only had that one accident and it wasnt even my fault. But hey, if I'm old and drive as badly as some of the old people I've encountered then HELL YEA BAN ME! I'll get my (OLDER) kids to drive me around. Isn't that why people have em?

K, driving home from the shops just a few minutes ago, came to the big arse roundabout close to my house. Big two lane roundabout that have seen many accidents due to the pure stupidity of many dumb arse people. Today was no different, cept I actually saw a dumb b!tch cause one. And dumb b!tch don't even describe this woman. I came up to the roundabout and it all unfolded before my eyes. Her and her two small kids in a four wheel drive, the dumb woman decides to turn right from the left hand lane at the last minute and cut off the truck next to her.........honestly, who did she think would win? Luckily for her, it was one of those small trucks not the big ones and plus they weren't going fast enough to cause a HUGE accident. Kinda regretting not pulling over and taking a pic with my phone, coz damn that woman was STOOOPPIID! Shoulda seen the face on the bloke drivin the truck, 'NOT happy Jan!!' Seriously tho, any1 stpid enough to make these kinds of decisions on the road, should not be on the road. Specially when she's driving the bubs around. LEARN TO USE A ROUNDABOUT!

Seven years on sydney roads have taught me something: 1. Old people should be banned from driving, well atleast the senile ones that can't drive. Too many times have I nearly been killed by some wanker old d*%head. Not to mention when i got my first car (was a daihatsu hehe ) the first week of having it, I get rear ended in a highway because some old w@nker at the front of the line decided to do the most stupid arse illegal U-turn on a busy highway. F*#@$ old fart saw me get rear-ended and drive off like the f@#$n senile old w@nk that he was and didn't even give a shit that he caused it......BREATHE....still pisses me off when I think about it.......Oh and don't even get me started on the old ladies that don't bother to use indicators or give way to their right on roundabouts. 2. Alot of p-platers drive like w@#kers, hence y alot of ppl hate them and display alot of annoyance and anger towards them. The bf is a p-plater and sometimes I wonder what the hell is he thinking when he makes certain decisions on the road (don' get me started on the fines!!). But now that we are drivin a Line, any act of pure stupidity gets rewarded by a good hard smack in the head and good yelling and nagging for an hour followed by more bitchin afterwards and punished with not putting out lol . Drivin like a hoon, don't help anyone. Plus isn't there enough ppl on the roads driving like sh!t? Don't need more. At the end of the day, the more p-platers out there that drive like w@nks, more of you guys that get targeted. Honesstly don't understand how driving like an idiot helps the cause. More so to the point....P-platers are easy revenue and coppers revel in it. 3. Truck-drivers are just as bad as any old person or p-plater. ...k starting to forget the point to this post....But anyway, at the end of the day NEVER trust anyone on the road. NEVER! If in doubt push the break not the accelerator (safely tho)!! Oh and make better decisions! K that's my two cents for the day Peace out

$1.40 lt, $70 tank.. ouch 200ks the tank so far, first tank reading hte site, used what it had to say, 18mm spacers on my 6x9's, turns out not to fit, built 12mm spacers that fit and find out a mate's got plastic ones that looks the goods, gona swap em tomorow retrimmed the parcel shelf cause of holes, THEN found hte remote and the jap manual in the glovy yep that about translates it been working hte car all day, ate din din and drank 4 scotches and jumped on the pc, the rest is there in the text !! enjoy!! and im on hte misses logon > im gts-4 dreamer

1.40 and just picked up the newer wheels, have to tank, $70... ouch things to come... p.s. 200kms to a tank so far, but much throttle up to 6-6.5k rpms on stock controller, 10 mins idling to kewl down, but only like a single hour trip on getting it home and about 2-3 hours after warming up over the last 2 days and now i've gone and pulled the interior to fit 6x9's in hte back, 18mm spacers My F'n AZZ more like 12mm... went and made up the spacers an retrimmed the parcel shelf, the old purifier left some holes, stil got the remote, wondered what it was for, got the original purifier manual in the glovy heh, clued me in

K, we've found a car (again) possibly one that is not as bad as the others we've looked at so far....paying a bit extra but is it worth it? It's a S2 1997 build. It's got exhaust (only muffler unfortunately), and active LSD's. From what we can see, it's had the rear end fixed, because the right rear bar is off by .5cm, and the boot has glue that looks like the back has been replaced. Now the HICAS ain't working. Could the rear damage have caused this? Also when we rev'd it, some white smoke came out but stopped after it warmed up also we can see some water get blown out of the exhaust. Could this be just condensation or more of a head gasket problem? Could this be a potential issue later on? The car will come with 3 months standard warranty. Any thoughts you guys might have on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. :P
