Should you be able to get the boost you want with dutycycle at say 40 and the gain set at 0? Even with the duty set at 30 or 35 and gain at maybe 2 or 4 it still seems to surge up then backs off to around standard boost 7-8psi. Maybe my stock actuator aint up to the task! The only time i did get around 10psi was when i had the duty at around 50 and gain at around 42 but it would overshoot to 12psi most of the time, when the gain was backed off i then wouldnt get even 10psi anymore. Could someone actually post up one of there settings for around 10psi thanks so i can give that a try? Thanks for all your suggestions guys its appreciated muchly!!

Its pretty much plumbed up as the instructions say so. Hose off of the intake pipe - solenoid - actuator. Boost guage is tapped off of a T connector at the intake then goes to my gizzmo IBC. Stock ECU, i still have stock dump pipe with 3in catback exhaust. Im very frustrated now aahhhhh....... It didnt surge before the IBC install and the wastegate always held the standard boost.

Hi guys, I recently installed a Gizzmo IBC in my 1993 R33 GTST (exhaust,FMIC, HKS pod filter(OMG)) And i cant stop the boost surging when accelerating. I have tried just about all the dutycycle settings up to about 45% with gain set at 0 and it still continues to surge. For some reason i cant get a stable boost setting. Only other thing is i did disconnect my battery while install so it is possible standard ecu reset but i doubt this would cause this problem Any thoughts appreciated! (cheers in advance)

I had a look at the ecu and if it was chipped id have to crack open the ecu to see wouldnt i? The outside casing of the ecu had pink writing RB25 turbo manual, like what you would see if it was second hand. So if it was chipped im assuming it was replaced with a standard one for compliance. However i dont know what or if anything else has been done to this motor?? Maybe it has been stuffed full of goodies that i wont see until she goes pop!!! And by the way its only running 7, 8psi when i did the dyno run!!

The front bar was already on the car when i bought it so, sorry cant tell you where i got it from but you can get one from psiparts.com for around $250??

Done @ BOOSTWORX last year! Even Shaun said that was awesome to get that figure and as far as i know thats all the mods that has been done to it! From memory the AFR was around 10,11 or 12 cant quite remember coz i got the printout at my work. The guy who i bought it off of said in the for sale thread that the ecu was chipped in japan but i had a look and could see no evidence of this.

Hey guys! As you can see i have a trust front bar and i wanna put some type of grille in to cover up the black empty space with super sexy aftermarket horn. But it looks like the front bar is actually like a grille aswell because it comes up the sides at the front like one. Or can i fit a standard or gtr one in there? Also what do you guys think i should put there? Cheers!!
