Hi, Yes i have read the threads! What i want to know is what dump pipes you guys are running in your skylines? Im currently looking at getting a 3in split dump but not sure whether to buy off ebay or get one made? Does anyone no if the NPOWER ones on ebay are ok? Cheers guys and gals

Cheers everyone! Im going to use Motul 8100 5W/40 and get a genuine nissan oil filter (dam redline is $$$$) insert 1Wk electrical appentice wage here

Im about to do a oil change for gearbox and engine and just wondering what oil everyone else uses? Im thinking of using Motul 4100 turbolight for engine and Redline Shockproof lightweight for gearbox, also i need an oil filter what brand should i get? Cheers

Looks like im goin cruising then Since ive decided to cruise downtown what places do you recommend and how much $$$$ roughly? Im gonna change all the oils and stuff first then just wanna take it for a tune and dyno run (cant wait) Ive never had a tune before on the skyline so how long do these things take since ill be stuck in town until its finished? I bought it in SA already complied and registered and i havent been issued a defect! I rang them again and it seems that the standards division at transport SA issued the inspection beacuse they reckon it hasnt been inspected and they want me to pay $80 to get the car inspected when it shouldnt even need to be! I aint paying shit until they give me some more info because it looks like theyve screwed up

Hey guyz n galz, Went to register my car the other day cause the rego had run out and i hadnt recieved the next slip like usual so i rang them up and they say my file is frozen because regency want to look at it? My cars not defected, havnt been pulled over or spoken to any police and ive registered it before and the old owner had rego too! I thought in order to register your import in SA you need a compliance plate and pass a road worthy inspection which it has. This is really weird so i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or comments?

Hey Guys, I noticed the other day i have a bolt snapped off where my turbo meets my dump pipe and a nut also missing which bolts the turbo onto the exhaust manifold. Could these missing parts be the cause of a air leak as i can here a funny whistling noise as soon as i make boost. It only makes the sound under load not free revving and its definatly coming from the exhaust side. Any thoughts or opinions appreciated

Cheers for all your replies guys!! Ill check the hoses out, should i start the engine up and rev it up to get some boost and listen for leaks? Ive heard of using soapy water on hoses to see bubbles is this also a good idea? Thanks guys for answering my NOOB QUESTIONS

If its a boost leak would i see it on the boost gauge coz its running 7psi and it always reaches 7psi

Yeah it sounds like a belt slipping but the tightness and belt deflection is ok

I've noticed that when i floor the car in any gear it makes a high pitch squeling noise and sounds like a rubbery noise from the engine bay. It only does it when i get above 4000rpm and the turbo is at full boost. The following link takes you to a video of the last cruise where my car is the last one to leave the car park (silver R33) and you can here the sound. Its not tyre squeeling either. Wondering if any of you guys could shed some light on a possible problem or solution thanks

Hey guys have you watched the vid? When i was leaving nuri carpark sounded like my belts or something were slipping. When ever i boost hard it sounds very high pitch from the engine bay. Im fairly new to skylines so i dont know what it is Cheers

Great cruise, best part was when me and my mate were waiting for you guys on the side of the road before birdwood. There was silence then all a sudden a huge rumble and a whole bunch of skylines roaring past me (awesome sound)

Im pretty sure they would all have PS but dont qoute me on that! Just check for a power steering resiviour on the passenger side and make sure its got PSfluid in it

Do you guys know of anywhere I can get a new GT fender badge for my 33? I've had cartoys screwing me over for 1&1/2months saying there having problems with there supplier so there gonna look at some slightly used ones Can you actually get them from nissan and how much or if anyone else has a suggestion thanks
