  1. Hey stao yeh i did connect the water lines to it...and there was plenty of coolant coming out when i took off the turbo
  2. i checked the oil drain as well there is absolutely no blockages....can high exhaust gas temps on the dyno cause this failure?

Hey guys just wondering how my turbo would of died....the turbo was a 3071r new cartridge everything, i had it on the car for three months ran fine then was getting it tuned, then tuner calls me up saying he ran it on the dyno on two runs then my turbo siezed so i ripped the turbo off went back to MTQ to get it inspected they wreckon its oil starvation so i checked my oil lines it was fine no debris, then checked the oil flow so i cranked the engine a few times oil squirted out of the turbo feed line like a fair bit of oil....is there any other possibility it would of siezed the turbo? the water lines are flowing they are not blocked, MTQ kept my siezed cartridge...   5. the 26 plenum i have a blitz adaptor plate kit for it to be bolted on mmmm I think the RIPS 30 block has all the modifications so the head is to be bolted on without having to block the VCT oil feed etc ill email RIPS about this, exhaust manifold wise if i get a GT35R i will be going a 6boost manifold. but is the nitto oil pump needed?

  7. oh true hmmm ill start it up on the week end its just a bit wierd that my turbo was rooted from oil starvation but i was driving the car around for a bit then took it for a tune and on the dyno the turbo just died...thanks jonno
  8. JonnoHR31 so u experienced the same problem? cranked it a few times and there was no oil flowing out?
  9. oh right...but if the oil pump is faulty wouldn't the whole engine just go bang? because when the car was still driving the idiot light never turned on? even till the day where i ripped off the blown turbo...
  10. how about the intercooler piping? wouldn't it just not start and keep stalling?
  11. I blew a turbo so I have a new one sitting here I wanna make sure I have oil going through the feed before I put it on.... So I guess I'll keep trying to crank it ey but normally does it take more then 1 min of cranking to get oil Cming out? I have a greddy oil filter relo kit

  13. right so I cranked it for a min and nothing came out so you suggest cranking a few more times? if still there is no oil what could be the problem? i mean if the oil pumps shat itself my engine would be dead right? e.g bearings gone etc
  14. oh right mmm my oil light stays on....but when driving the car ie starting the car the light goes off...
  15. how long do i have to crank it before i see oil coming out of the turbo feed line?

  17. Hey guys just wondering when cranking the car with the cas plugg off is oil sposed to coming out of the turbo oil feed? is there any pressure to the turbo oil feed? Cheers Chi

  19. Even the side and rear indicators are not working hmmm still need to check the fuse
  20. Hey guys today I put new bulbs in the front indicator lights and nOw even when I try signalling or even use the hazard lights there is nothing not even the green arrows on the dash? So could it be a fuse?
  21. i did mine 2 - 3 times with the gear box attatched its quiet easy....remove gear box cross member undo engine mounts then crane slowly get the angel then crane the whole thing out make sure u remove the shifter etc Cheers Chi

  23. Hey guys got a pin hole leak near the front of the intake manifold leaking radiator fluid....so just wondering if anyone has any experience withe Series 500 radiator sealer or the likes of the product or should i just use the loctite radiator and petrol tank repair kit? Cheers Chi

  25. so i can basically attach those two wires onto the body of the car right? mmmmm then my car should crank and start up but instead it sounds like its got a flat battery even tho i got a healthy battery? mark dipstick is going good its all in etc lol
