^ +1 after that work on changing all your bushes to polyurethane ones - quite a noticeable difference then upgrade your swaybars - you'll be smiling when you fang it around corners The car will feel heaps newer and you won't have any annoying squeaks that you may already have or start to get with an ageing '32 - it's a long road fixing everything but it's worth it.

Personally, I'd go for the R34 GT-T based on it's looks and age. But ultimately it's the condition of the car you should be wary of... On that note, you may want to search these forums before you make a final decision on where you purchase the car from - there's some great and not-so-great deals out there Just my 2c.

Check brake fluid, if levels are low (e.g. due to a leak) that light will stay on.

Just adjust your passenger side mirror to point downwards - I have mine permanently like that for uber-fast parallel/reverse parking. You don't even use that mirror since you headcheck (or should be headchecking) on that side! Regularly check your rear vision mirror too as they're pretty anal about that. But you should be fine... the criteria that must be met in order to get your license is far from adequate in determining whether a person is competent enough to drive on public roads safely... You may want to take it to a repairer with access to a computerised jig (e.g. Car-o-liner) to see if it is repairable. I'm not sure of any repairers with one in the South East, but if you're willing to get the car to the Northern Suburbs shoot me off a PM I know of a shop that may be able to help you
