  3. Awesome, thanks a heap mate. I think the custom route is the way to go right at this moment.
  4. Hi guys, After searching through the forum I made the conclusion that I was going to get the X-Force stainless steel turboback exhaust system from JustJap for my R32 GTS-4 coupe. So I sent an enquiry to JustJap only to receive a reply from Trevor that the turboback system for the GTS-t would require modification to the 'diff pipe'. Now I'm not sure whether to go ahead and purchase the system and have it modified by an exhaust shop or to just find a different turboback system or even a custom combination comprising of a catback, cat and front pipe. I was hoping not to spend more than about 1200-1300. Any suggestions on what I should do would be really appreciated as I am wanting to get an exhaust system within a month. Cheers, Gerard.
  5. I believe so. Not my rims mate, selling for a friend - call the number which I have put on the post - it's there for a reason Perhaps a price change I was not told about. Cheers.

  8. Had same problem months ago. All is good now. At first I thought it was the control arm bushes. Turns out it was the swaybar ones. Hope that helps somebody
  9. LOL! Western Ring Road (Greensy area) is full of knucklehead university students like myself who wake up wayyyyy too late and are late for lectures. That's why we boot it there and have little to no respect for the speed limit!
  10. Hi guys, Just need a little help with part numbers. Need them for the warranty company to be able to source parts for me. I need numbers for the following (the car is an '89 R32 GTS-4): Driver and passenger side drive shafts. Front shock absorbers. HICAS Inner rack ends. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance guys. Gerard.
  11. Hi guys, I have an '89 R32 GTS-4 and it's developed a problem in the past week or so ever since I had my ABS unit replaced and brakes bled. I noticed it start creaking (mainly in the front, both sides) as I slow down to a halt. Initially I thought it was the brakes, but other things got me thinking otherwise. Because I had the car lowered 35mm on all four corners recently and ever since I've had that happen it seems to creak occasionally even when not applying the brake. Could it be the shocks creaking when they're under load? Or is it my brakes? I've done a search around on this forum as well as others, and there seems to be no definative answer. I've read about the culprit turning out to be either brakes, shocks or engine mounts. As I'm not exactly a seasoned mechanic I'd like to know what I should get checked out first in order to fix the problem (putting the symptoms I've described into account). Any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Gerard. P.S. I actually asked Pedders to check my shocks while they changed my springs, and the feedback I got when I got the car back was 'they're a little on the soft side, but they're in good nick.' ... should that count for anything?
  12. Woo! All is good. Thanks again for the help Elk
  13. Thanks mate, just had to make sure that I wouldn't break anything else during the process - that wouldn't be ideal hehe Will post how it goes in a few hours I suppose *thumbs up*
  14. Hi guys, Just got my replacement indicators for my R32 GTS-4 and was wondering whether I had to remove the whole headlight assembly before removing the indicator. I've removed only that screw at the top and it doesn't seem to want to budge very much. If anyone could help out on how to remove/reinstall the indicators it would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance guys, Gerard.
  15. Hi guys, I'm after a set of clear indicator lenses for my R32. I'm only after the the passenger side but I know how hard it is to find them separated so I'm willing to buy both sides off somebody. In Melbourne and will be happy to pick them up Please PM if you can help me out! Cheers, Gerard.
  16. Hi guys, Just after a clean, good condition plastic surround for the R32 center console. I have an '89 model so preferably the smooth finish one rather than the one that's made out of the same material as the dash itself. I'm located in Melbourne - Northern Suburbs. Will pay good kesh Please PM me if you happen to have one lying around. Will check my messages at least once daily Cheers, Gerard.
  17. Hmm... yeah come to think about it you're right. Yeah its like a hesitation followed by sudden response again. And it feels like the diff at the back stops and then starts again.
  18. Hey guys, Got a problem with the old '32 GTS-4. Occasionally after going up a gear (in any gear) the car will shift as normal, however on the odd occasion moments after I've shifted the car gets stuck in terms of engine revs, as if the clutch isn't 'biting'. This is then followed by a sudden 'bite' once again and the revs pick up as normal. Being a noob at cars, all I can say is that it feels like my clutch is going silly on me, as if it doesn't know whether or not it should 'bite'. The clutch pedal feels perfectly fine (I can feel the friction point as normal), it's just like suddenly driving with a dead accelerator pedal for a moment when that 'biting' on and off occurs. It was something I ignored for a week or two till it happened to me on the freeway Quite freaky. Is it transmission/clutch/diff? I don't have a clue. Any suggestions on what it could be would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Gerard.
  19. Awesome, thanks for the advice mate. It'd be less costly than replacing a diff I assume? You reckon it would be worth replacing the bushes all the way around?
  20. Not likely mate, the car is completely stock throughout. Predator, what can cause the diff to sh*t itself? I've been reasonably gentle when driving it. Would it's age and general wear and use cause such damage?
  21. Awesome, I'm getting the bushes on the control arms replaced some time this/next week through my dealer warranty, so I'll have these checked out along with it. See how that goes about fixing the problem. Thanks mate. Other suggestions to the cause of the problem would be greatly appreciated
  22. Hi guys, have had my '89 R32 GTS-4 for about a month and abit now, and a very noticeable 'thud' noise has occured everytime I shift gears. If I shift very gentley the noise is reduced but it is consistently there even at very slow speeds. I've ruled out something being loose in the boot (as the sound resembles a loose object moving around the rear of the vehicle) and being a total noob at cars, have no idea on what the problem could be. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated
  23. Thanks for the suggestion mate, will have a look into it. So I just go to any Nissan dealer and they can source some new vents for me?
  24. Hi, if there's anybody out there in Melbourne that has both left and right plastic lenses for R32 GTS-T in good condition (no cracks and have not gone yellow) for sale I would be an interested buyer. Also, I'm after A/C vents (passenger side and middle) that are in working order as I would also like to purchase those. I'm able to be contacted via email at: [email protected] Thanks
