  1. went to sydney for the soccer, stayed at the hilton.. man the cars in sydney parked out front c63 Black edition 1 of only 32 in aus! when it started people litteraly shat bricks, aston martin, ferrari, lambo pockets seem to be deeper in Sydney than Melbourne.
  2. for $120 kim kardashian better have worn it then i'd consider buying it. having said that in seriousness its hardly new paying a ridiculous amount for a white t-shirt same as all the 'high end' brands, just whether you'd consider kanye and A.P.C? high end..
  3. lool
  4. Face to face is the only way to do real business
  5. all good brah just had a lot of people assume that, just cos i made decent coin young so people conclude it must be given not earned.
  6. if you are implying my parents have helped me in any way at all your completely incorrect brah. They are nowhere near rich never have been never will be.
  7. granted, however what price cars are you buying? Also I guess im lucky that i can claim car expenses through tax so softens the blow drastically. Even if you got 100k laying around you wouldn't buy a car with it as its a waste of the opportunity with the money, better to invest it and just make the necessary repayments. I think you'd find majority of people with late model cars don't own outright either through mortgage or car finance etc.
  8. $3.6k isnt that much, my car repayment is $650 a month which is fk all as i tipped in up front to bring it down where i wanted it to be, but i'd say that's a similar payment to most families with a falcadore or ss etc, and then add in all your bills and what not i wouldnt call 3.6k a lot but hey its all relative to what your used to and lifestyle you desire. Anyway i'm thankfully not at that level so its largely irrelevant just sayin i wouldnt call it comfortable. true that hamish we see a bit of it, not a lot but a bit and its almost always self inflicted.
  9. fair wet out now..
  10. maybe people arent happier 100k i dont agree personally, and i'd sure rather find out what its like being unhappy in my water front mansion and lamborghini then just gettin by
  11. yeh just got to do whats affordable no point having a house you cant furnish, cant afford to go out for a meal or something got to live to! thats why my area is popular houses from 300k - 1.5mill something for everyone 22kms from the city? anyone need a business card? hahahah
  12. also none of the above scenarios have factored in the single biggest expense(s) in life. kids.
  13. haha nah man i wish! unless its cheap enough of course also totes excited reebok shaqnosis drop tomorrow can not wait.
  14. i work in the wild west brah, no auctions here even though im an auctioneer - if you quote low here thats all you'll get haha! i fkn hate under qouting im putting up with it myself looking at places fkn bullshit. I dont see why they dont just ask the price it really is gonna sell for its not like it will magically sell for less.
  15. depends what area your talking, out here we have stuff from like low $300's so most first home buyers wouldnt spend that but anything within 15kms of the city i'd say $500k is conservative for something more than an apartment. in terms of deposit ideally 20% to avoid mortgage insurance but most people don't have that.
  16. $500k 5.19% 30 years approx $2,742pcm leaves $3658 for everything else spread over 4 weeks is $914 per week not massive factoring bills my car is $100 a week in fuel alone
  17. was paying $600+ for the lexus, i feel like im saving haha
  18. 100k combined will not provide a comfortable living if you wish to live someone remotely close to cbd, not have financial stress over bills & food, have a couple of cars still go out for dinner here and there 100k before tax is fk all these days. obviously everyone has different opinion of 'comfortable' - Tony the tax man run numbers on take home per month after tax at 100k combined?
  19. pretty high i got to euroclass in richmond they got a good reputation from what i've read taken it twice been really happy only $400~ for minor, through audi same minor is $700-$800.. the majors are what sting, and anything extra brakes etc
  20. planks?
  21. none of the bold, but no fks given its a dog eat dog world i do what i gotta do and not a thing more. /selfish having said that i did the opposite going above and beyond previous employer got me nowhere so fk that.
  22. yeah each to there own, I consider myself lucky I like what I do, am good at it and earn a decent enough quid out of it.
  23. yeh its a double edge sword, one thing is for sure at some point in your life your going to have to work hard to acheive anything so either you do it young set up for the future and enjoy the fruits of your labour down the track, or you have a great youth travel care free but when 30+ age wise hits you'll be like oh shit i cant afford a roof over my head (the lifestyle they thought was just going to happen) hard to say man it really varies I'm fairly established now and mainly do 5 days with friday/sunday off (by appointment only) but i guess id be 50hours minimum a week also should have mentioned for the educated 80-100k 5 days a week 9-5pm is quite achievable but the plethora of uneducated have no hope in hell.
  24. thats fine provided the $$$ are there to sustain the standard of living you desire, I'm yet to find anyone who walks the ultimate balance of lifestyle and income ideally 80-100k 5 days a week 9-5pm would be the absolute ideal situation however not sure how likely that is for most people.
  25. cayman is basically a boxter with a roof.
