hondas have to be maintained thats all. timing belts, brake master cylinders, servicing...all stuff that has to be taken care of and ull be right. i would def not call Hondas unreliable, just gota take care of them. we've had 4 hondas in our family. all great cars, just gota keep an eye on things like timing belts and oil changes.

hehe, chill buddy, didnt mean to offend... im glad u love ur car, but all i was saying is that if this guy wants sumthin thats gonna be fast, a n/a 32 is prolly not the best avenue wen he can get a type R teg that nails 0-100 in about 6 sec stock. and weighs under 1100kg. also one of the best fwd drive handlers. the rb20det lacks torque, so a N/A 32 would not be the wise decision if this kid wants sumthin that can move swiftly. i reckon he'd prolly just end up regretting it. and bogeye, i seriously think ud be better off jumping on preludeaustralia to find out about tuned vtec's and their potenial. im a member on preludeaustralia and thers threads with dyno sheets and heaps of useful info for u. great group of members on ther who will help u out.

hmm, im pretty positive anything that alters the boost of ur car like a boost valve is illegal, whether its under ur bonnet or not.

hmm, imo a non-turbo 32 is a waste of money. personally i get a bit bored of the power in my 32gts-t wen i dont boost it. so i could imagine a gts would just suck. im not sure if u can afford it, but a typr R teg would be the way. but im guessin u dont have that much cash...if not, get a vtir prelude. i owned a lude b4 my 32, it wasnt vtec, but it was a great car. vtec basically works by changing the valve timing and crap so u get an extra kick of power at the top end of the rev range. so wen other cars are running outa juice, u prelude gets more go. check out www.preludeaustralia.com if u got any more Q on preludes....cause im sure ull just get plenty of narrow minded nissan lover wankas on here who use the whole 'vtec yo' joke and bag the crap outa hondas.

Type R .....yummy.....0-100 in about 6 secs....1/4 mile in 14.5...redline at 8400rpm!! i cant belive ppl are calling these girls cars. ther light, fast and known to be one of the best handling fwd cars. def worth a look at.

^^^exactly.....33's are def not slow, they good cars..... they just LOOK really big and clumsy, thats why i always refer to them as many others do....'boats'. edit: 33's dont have the agrresive stlying like the 32 and 34 skylines. but to each his own.

hey everyone, ive got a 3 point immobiliserr and alarm, i also use a club lock. does anyone know of any other additonal security i could add to the car? i dont want to go takin out the ECU and crap. im just after another lil' gadget to make it harder to steal...cheers. p.s...ive also posted this Q in an existing thread in the South Oz section cause, sorry, i didnt realsie is was the south oz section i was posting in under 'View New Posts'...hehe.

both cars sprint to 100 in similar times...if ur 33 is modded then u might be quiker but if ur car is stock..hmm, i dunno...s2000's are fast lil' mofos.

^^ yeh sim i know what ur saying, but my prelude i used to own was definalty a 'rev happy' engine. the needle would fly straight to redline effortlessly...i feel i have to push the 32 so much harder to get that needle round that guage.

hmm, ive got a 32gts-t. id hardly call the rb20det a 'rev happy' engine. i mean, it revs out ofcourse...but so does any car when u hammer it. as u mentiond White Thing, the honda vtecs are the rev happy ones....integra type R, nsx, s2000
