  1. Might put in an appearance.
  2. Wouldn't have been the same without a reverse to fury and skidding borrowed rubber.
  3. Ha. More lol worthy events the next street over?

  6. I'm gonna come off as a gigantic hypocrite here... ... Don't learn it on the street. Too many variables. Especially in a new car that has a whole new drive type compared to what you're used to, and some 200kw+ more kilowatts than you're used to. Spend the coin, head to the track, have the pro's help you out, and get to know your car without the ever present threats of Police, kerbs, cliffs, fences, and oncoming traffic.
  7. 8 bucks, a couple sticks of chewie, a 3 day old FUIC, and a ball of lint I pulled from my belly button. Sound good? I thought so too. Crazy to that down I reckon.
  8. BCPR7ES. Get to a John Bowe day and learn how to drive it before you bend it.
  9. I had Captain Thread out this morning. Set me back 110 pieces of money, but I couldn't care less. Could not get that f**king stud out to save my life. Tried half a dozen EZ outs (... I have a stockpile...), drilled all the way through the stud, back filled with CRC, still couldn't get it to budge. Took Captain Thread less than 30 minutes to remove the stud, drill out the damaged thread (had to cut to old stud in half while it was still in the head), tapped a new thread, and then plugged a helicoil to suit a genuine stud in there. $65 call out fee (North), $35 to remove the stud and fit a helicoil. Pretty f**kin' good as far as I'm concerned.
  10. Hey look! Stuff to buy! Fund my Cocaine habbit! That shit ain't cheap!
  11. Yeah... It's pretty orrite. Got the exhaust housing back today, waste gate port is now about 50% larger.
  12. Clearing out the shed and selling my turbo to make way for something bigger and better. Brakes, $500 for the lot; negotiable. 14. Christ, just a slight difference... The turbo I'm running at the moment is a HG 2860 (hi-flow, journal bearing). Been running it for nearly 2 years without getting near it's full potential, due to having a damaged and restrictive Apex'i exhaust, and being a gigantic lazy f**k... With a new AM Performance exhaust fitted and a VTC issue sorted (turned out it was never working, fun), when we started tuning it, it was discovered it couldn't control boost to save it's worthless life. So I took it off to get it ported or fit an external gate (ended up buying a Tial MV-S), then after a bit of a chat with my tuner and a mate of mine, I decided there's really no harm in upgrading again... Narrowed down to 3 options, the TD05H, TD06SL2, or a T518z. Just waiting to hear back from Kando about availability of the T518z, then I'll make my decision. Looks like the T518z will be the most suitable. I think no matter which direction I take, I'm going to have to start looking at a new set of injectors soon, I'm currently only running 555cc Sards, though they should probably be good for 240ish.
  15. Untuned, it was making 170. We're expecting to just tap 200.
  16. Just spent a bit of time reading through this. And the last couple pages indicated that they're not a bolt on application, is that for all of them or just the T67 equivalent? Reason I'm asking is I currently have the turbo off my S14 (hypergear hi flow) as I'm going external gate, and over the last couple days I've been playing with the idea of fitting a new turbo while its off. So 2 questions, the above about any of them being bolt on (I realise I'll need a new intake and dump pipe no matter what, that doesn't bother me). And what turbo would suit my application? Aiming for a little over 200rwkw, but with a bit of headroom should I feel the need to bump it up a bit, and I want it to stay reasonably responsive. SR20 using standard cams, unopened, standard bolt on stuff like an incredibly noisy exhaust and an ARC box. Gate will be a Tial 38mm external w/ 1 bar spring. Thinking something like the TD06SL2, do they come in 8cm, or are they all only 10cm? V-band rear non gated is preferred. Car is mostly street with track and motorkhana days thrown in regularly.
  17. You have any idea how hard it is to rape and drive? Shit ain't easy. Too far?
  18. Best. Starlet was a pretty solid performer...
  19. I'm thinking the same.
  20. You want the GTR rear bar, not the front. S15 front bar is the tight arse upgrade of choice apparently.
  21. Don't think so. 17's and Luke's car aren't on speaking terms anymore.
