Hi everyone, I'm looking to get a new car end of the year.. probably a Civic or something.. and would just like to ask some of you to post your comments on how much my car is worth if i trade it in, and how much i would be able to get it privately. It's been well looked after, as I am the 2nd owner since new. I bought the car at 200k mileage. Since then, I've serviced it every 7-8k and also did the major service at 200k on the day i bought the car cause I didn't want to risk anything. The car is basically average condition considering its age. Electrics are all still working fine. Mechanically the car sounds really good. Here's a short list: White Toyota Vienta Grande 1997 MCV20R (July) Mileage 221kms Full Leather Interior Sunroof Pioneer 2 Din DVD Player (I installed it at Audio Arts) Auto 15" Alloys Standard 6 Speaker stereo ABS Climate Control Alarm Central Locking Cruise Control Electric Seats for Driver and Passenger Woodgrain Dash Changed all 4 brand new tyres 1000km's ago There is a dent on the driver's side door which was damaged by the previous owner. I couldn't be stuffed to fix the exterior as I use it for daily and all that matters for me is comfort(interior) and mechanically. Besides the usual small dint's and paint chips due to the age, there's nothing else I can see on the car. The car has average mileage considering it is 11 years old which makes it having an average of 20kms per year. Feel free to post up prices and as the topic states.. its mainly an expression of interest as I am only looking to sell the car end of Nov/Dec. Cheers Bernard

What GMG? Playing golf at Melville Glades today, there was a group in front of us. There was a gap in the timesheets therefore the group in front of them tee-d off 30 mins earlier. Anyways, the first 9 holes took 2 hours and 45 minutes! After 12, I approached them and asked them nicely if they could speed up and even used the word 'please'. Although there was a gap in the timesheets, 9 holes should not take more than 2 hours and 15 minutes. 1 of the players in the front group started cursing me and giving me shit and asked stuffs like, how long have you been a member for etc etc etc. I even gave a call to the pro-shop as I know the pro working in there and he said it shouldnt take that long for 9 holes. Anyways, after I told them, they started to speed up. GOOD! Then all of a sudden, f**king slowed down like turtles! They were messing around with us. I mean, come on. Who the F**K are you to ask me how long i've been a member? It doesn't matter as I also DO pay the membership fees! f**king dickhead holding a stubbie, cant even walk straight, giving me shit. I've played WAYYY more tournaments than that A$$. I can pretty much confirm that. I was in the f**king malaysian team! f**k off and don't start giving me lecture and shit that I don't know how to keep track of time! f**king WANKER!!!!!!! /end rant Gawd.. first time i ranted.. feels absolutely awesome!

Hi guys, My housemate lost her garage remote control and we have to change the codes and re-tune the new controller.. anyone have any idea? I tried google-ing for manuals but just couldnt find the right one.. The garage door that i have is a Gliderol (Glidermatic GTS) Opened up the panel, and all i see is a switchboard with so many buttons.. At my old house, the garage had a reset/learn button which was there without having to even remove the panel.. Any help will be deeply appreciated. Cheers, Bernard

Bloody drivers that rush red lights when its already RED for A FEW SECONDS!!! Happened on Roe Highway turning onto Wileri Drive.. was waiting at the lights for it to turn green.. and usually once its green, i'll still look left and right to confirm, then move.. unfortunately there was a big truck, like a woolies truck, on the right side.. Then once the lights was green, I waited for like 1-1/2 seconds then i moved.. Suddenly *Whoosh* an Aurion flies right in front of me.. the lights must DEFINITELY been red for at least 3-5 seconds.. almost got t-boned at the driver side and that flamin mongrel was probably going like 100kmph at a 70 zone.. Pretty much unsurvivable.. STUPID flamin mongrelS THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO ESTIMATE WHEN TO RUSH A RED LIGHT!!! /end Rant

Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone noticed.. but the price of crude oil has pretty much fallen drastically compared to a few months ago when it was at $147 per barrel.. and we were paying between $1.55 to $1.65 p/litre of unleaded petrol.. But the price of crude oil is now at $104 per barrel.. but I notice the pumps are only at like $1.40 to $1.49(sometimes) p/litre for unleaded petrol.. I was kinda expecting it to fall into the $1.30's mark.. Any comments? Cheers, Bernard

Umm.. im under 25 and am a student.. so the nomination fee was $450 and annual fees and charges are about 1.2k.. this is for 7 day full priveleges.. For normal rates are $990 nomination(i think its lower now cause its on special) and $2.3k annual fees and charges..
