well guys i have a tock standard 260rs with a dtop in replacement K7N and a full 3" echaust fitted. i ran with a few 98 rons and founf mobil to be the most powerful , bp smoother and sheel the worse of the lot. ALthough i miced once optimax with extreme once and theres a lot of difference only 10 ltrs to the tank i added with the extreme. Since Sk said and proved that theres no problem running on extreme then how about running on United? Anubody test it long term @ 10 or 15% ethanol? Cos it sounds very cheap. ok when you are driving at what speed when the vibrations is at its worst? do you feel the vibrations on the sterring wheels or from the car seat? If its from sterring wheels its the front whels problem and if its from the seats its the rear wheels. Let us know. We have to get to the bottom of this. im very curious -

check your drive shafts wheter its loose on the universal joints or not. I have had experienced that shuttering while accelerating in a 4wd cos the universal joint that connectec the drive shaft to the diffs is loose. 4 bolts to tightern up -
ohh i forgot all thedriving are w/o Ac on. The air con was only on for the last 160k.

well guys just a quick update. Almost finished a think almost E (the warning light had not lit). Ive done 410km in one tank. I filled up with mobil synergy 8000 (98 octane). I think its pretty good i guess. &0% HWY driving though. The rest is in city with a few hammering 2 or 3 times i guess.

Hi guys got the S1. how do you change the front parkers light? I unscrewed the top it falls out and the bottom bits seeemed to be stuck. Can get it out. Dpmt wamt t force it. thanks guys

why dont you just get a Z tuned wngine and whack it in? Save the trouble and everything. It seems that you have the dough. I would go down that track if i got the money to do it. Or HKS tuned ones. Full engine -
Sorry guys been busy these couple of days. Well i forgot to tell you guys its an S1 98 model. i have been told that the stock turbos are steel not ceramic and i can run with it. with bosst to up about 1.4 bar. I dont know the durability factors on the turbos if ran at that boost. So heres the current ides . im not looking for big powers if not i will get too michevious with it. If you guys know what i mean. Itchy feet and feeling heacy footed too!!. Anyway heres the list : 1 Power Fc w/ boost controller. (either Apex ones or the HKs v pro 2. AFMs Will suck it and see how much power i can get. I have been under the guidance of a friend of mine who recommends me what to do. Cos i got the same car as his But im itching to get the R34 N1 turbos but to think about it if i get the N1 turbos i will probably need to upgrade the fuel pump, fuel reg and injectors. But i think i will wait But wat do you guys think?.

Hi guys, i want to know what are the differences between a tock standard turbos and the N1 turbos? And what are the differences between and R32 N1, R33 N1 and a R34 N1? Thanks guys.

THanks duncan. So preety much the turbos are already at their 80% limit then. I was chatting with hypertek las week and i told them i want an everday driveable car with at least 250kw@wheels. Ohh I dont think i mentioned this the car ive got is the 260rs. I just got the car not long ago thats why im asking all these basic questions. Pardon me. Anyway they said the power i want is achiveable only with the following parts : 1. Full echaust system. Currently i have everything fitted except for the extractors (looking for 1 and 3 : Dump pipes) the rest of the exhaust is 3" as well. 2. adjustable cam gears. ( In transit) 3. Drop in k&N filter 4. Power FC with boost controller. 5. HD clutch. 6. Higher boosy didnt specify at what pressure. This will roughly get me there. The main problem is are the urbos. The std turbos are ceramic which i need to change to a ball bearing type with metal fan. So i though about it since im goin to take out the turbos when i fit the dump pipes and the extractors might as well change the tubos as well. Now i dont want to mess with having to change the fuel pump and injectors , water pump upgrades and oil pump ungrades. So i was just thinking of geeting a R34 GTR's stock std turbos whack it in and run a higher boost. Will the R34Gtr's turbos bolt on directly onto the the 260rs? How much more boost can i gain from it? What other type of turbos will fit onto my car? Like a r32 N1 turbos? Finall thing where can i get a specifications for the different turbos ever made for skylines? What which model is interchangeable to which? Like an an example which turbos will fit my 260rs? im uainf Mobil 1 15w/50. And im a mobil man. please note Castrol do not make their own oil they sub contract it out. Well this info is about 8yo so i dont know they still did the same thing or not. Castrol do not take out the carbons in the engines out . thecarbons stays in the engine thus when you switch from castrol to mobil the engine shits itself. cos mobil oils takes the carbons out

oil companies are not goin gto invest into new tech cos they need to protect their current investments such as rigs and refineries. Ubnless the govt gives them tax encentives in their new investments. if not they are just going to do with the old ways. For an example diesel engine wasnt developed to run on diesel. But when the inventor died the oil companises modified the engine to run on the current deisel. Diesel engine when it wwas first developed it was to run on peanut oil!! So the oil companies have the fiesel as by products which the couldnt sell and they used the diesel engine to run on the current diesel fuel. All in all look at the long term costs. The only time Lpg is worth it when you run 100k/yr then its wirth it if not dont bother. Like i said before LPG has actually risen 300%+ compares to what it was 7 years ago.

most likely your trans bearing check it and dont step on the clutch when you are in a red light save the bearing
