33Sedan

Hey guys. might sound like a stupid question but the other day i got a pod filter, was quite nice, really enjoyed the sound, but am getting very annoyed by it now. It is extrememly loud. I havn't done anything to the car yet and when i do i wanna focus on day to day driveability (maybe cos i drive it heaps). So i wanna sorta quiet zorst etc. But this pod filter is so freaking loud. I have no hope of driving it quietly. My gf is whinging which is not good!*hence my post* But yea besides takin it off is there another trick i could do to make it a little more quiet. (when i say its loud, during peak hour traffic, with the stereo on, fans on, its still very very noticeable, let alone driving at night, gave me a headache!!!)

spotted a silver? r33 coupe near reid CIT, sped up to me and sat next to me for abit then went infront of me. I was the white sedan. was gonna follow you but had to go slow as my gf was following me (didn't know directions) just picked it up from getting a service and pod filter installed. im in love.

Just wondering where the hell i can get a r33 4 door impul kit. Found the official website. all in japanese or something though. Anyone know?

spotted 2 'lines. a dark grey 33 sedan back of dundas court. not sure if you saw the white 33 sedan parked opposite you. (if you are on this forumn) also gave a wave to a 33 (?silver?, ?S2?) near lanyon shops yesterday.

Thing i love about this bar is its not crazy, it really compliments the skyline.

spotted a silver 33 coupe s2, not sure what the road was but it was near the powere station ont he side of the round about sorta near woden. lol if that makes any sense. it was going through the little round abouts, sorta quicky ;-) i was way to tired to wave. i was in the 33 white sedan.

how much u reckon delivery would be? would be keen in a group buy if there is one around feb, i can then pick it up from syd as it seems that where most of u are from (im canberra). but yea would be heaps good. looks very nice.

The premium sound system i got is all kenwood except the head unit ;-). I have seen the normal rear speakers, they are a fair bit smaller, well the grill is alot smaller neway.

i bought my 1995 white manual sedan gts25t wtih 76000 on the clock, and same with you everyone said it looked like a new car ;-) but yea i got it for $13000 which i thought was a bargain. its stock as a rock 100%. was thinking of selling it for more but i love it so much. would be hard to find another ;-) oh and mynes was auction grade 4 aswell

I would love the 4 door 33 gtr. the fact that when u pull up with mates (assuming u have more than 1) u don't have to get out to let them out. rather embarassing i would think. oh and the coupe is based of the sedan. just thought i would put that in ;-) and anyone that i would know would much prefer to have their own door for accessing the rear seats. so much hassel getting out to let them in, just because its a bigger door dosn't mean it makes it easier. you have moor room to get in the car when its a seperate door. not rocket science.

Parked next to a grey? r33 sedan gts25 in tuggers friday around 12-1. was weird cos i don't see many lines around let alone 4 doors.

saw a dark grey 33 coupe with charcoal rims at UC tuesday.

what i mean by random is atleast the 33 has a garnish which is the same colour as the lights bit. where the 32 has two blotches of grey on either side of the boot. looks outta place especially since they are squared off. I never said the 33 lights were great. i just think they are more organised tha the 32. 34 rules though Oh and the dna pliced thing. It's called evolution ;-) evolve to better things ;-) okay okay neway. i think they should have just put the bloody 32 coupe lights on the 32 sedan and the 33 coupe lights on the 33 sedan. don't see why they had to go all creative. They even stuffed up the 33 s2 sedan lights but they had the right idea aye?

lol i also find it funny as the two of you who love the 32 lights own 32's....weird huh?

32's lights are the most random of all, worse than the 33. 34 are the best. ps the one on 20's has the same rear lights that everyother 33 sedan has. This could get into a large opinion debate. I got my car cos i think its mad, i'm guessing thats why you guys bought urs too, thats all that matters aye ;-)

Hey guys, got a annoying prob on my hands. Got the skyline with a loan which i'm paying off now. It is harsh repayments which means i pay it off quickly but don't have much money at all to spare. I got the standard head deck which has a cassette player on it and a sony 10 cd stacker in the boot. The front speakers are all ripped but has some okay kenwood speakers in the back hoocked up to a factory kenwood amp. Now the thing is that the stacker is very moody. When i got it, the head deck told me it was searching through the cd's trying to play it, but would skip each cd as it was having trouble or something. The cd's were original not burnt. The thing is that sometimes after taking the cd's out and maybe just putting one back in and doing a technical 'blow' into the cd changer, it will play the cd no troubles. But eventually maybe after 5 mins or 2 days, while playing it will hiss and whine then come up with cd err. This would be alright if i could listen to the radio, but this isn't possible either. I got a frequency extender with the car so i bought a jap to aus aerial adapter and a aus to jap adapter (as the freq ext was in aus aerial format). I then hooked the power from the cigg lighter to the extender. This works, but accompanied by a very very loud hiss, which makes it near unlistenable (is that a word). Is there any insanely cheap things i can do? The thing is (I am a weird man), when i do upgrade the stereo, i want to try and keep the standard headdeck (i like the nice clean look when everything matches) and hook up like 2 amps which recieve the audio singal from the changer, so all the headdeck does is control the changer, I am not too fussed about radio, will think about how i will do that someother time. But for now can you guys think of anything it may be? I tried putting one of those cd lens cleaning cd's in but didn't do anything. Any help on the FM thing aswell? has anyone done this fm extender thing?

really like the rims, love white car with black rims. the eyelids look great aswell. Not a fan at all for the interior inserts, Not sure if its meant to look like a marble stone finish or something but considering the rest of the car is made out of grey plastic (two tone) i don't think it goes well at all, expecially the door inserts. Maybe if you wrapped the seats (front and back) with some nice black leather and did the dash in a dark grey or black then yea the marble would go with it. Just my opinion. But dude a very very nice looking r34, looks really tough. GO THE BLACK RIMS!!!!!!! You reckon they would suit r33 white sedan?

I admit the taillights and front of of the s2 are much nicer looking, modern and possibly 'meaner' but the interior seat fabric was gay, much prefer the s1 velour, i got a 95 s1.5 manual with velour. I think the taillights would have been cooler if they didn't stick out so much though. Personal opinion!

I can't remember now, had a feeling it was all maroonish?

spotted a silver 33 with a crazy kit at UC today, along with a white 33 with some blue decals on the side. Also saw a maroon 32 sedan heading towards tuggers at around 3ish. big rear wing and big exhaust, sounded like an auto.

Saw a 32 sedan leaving the monaro southside towards richardson the other day, i think it was dark grey, can't remember. was about midday saturday i think. Also saw a r33 at UC, has like a drag rear spoiler.

I get condensation in mostly the left rear tail light but sometimes the boot sign. It is quite annoying.

I got the keys back for the 3rd time, still didn't work so i took advice of smoothing the edges abit, just used the remel grinder thing and yea worked. i had a few keys so just incase it didn't it wouldn't have mattered but yea it worked. starts the engine and all ;-) first ones only locked the car ;-) Thanks for the help guys. haha yea chris is a top bloke. saw my car aye? so happy with it. very cheap. will definatly upgrade through sspi. when i can afford ;-)
