so without the stereo? as in no stereo at all? really need some more pics dude. Get on a friends computer or anyone elses. a pic of the front headlights and bonnet is not enough mate. Would buy it if it was manual, rather steep for an auto.

Nah didn't have time to modify it. Drove fine on the way home so i don't think it did nething to the susp etc. all fingers crossed still.

Yea im fine, got some wiplash kicking in now. Sucks driving, feel like someones gonna ram into me all the time now! Sorting out all the insurance crap now. Really hope it goes quickly. The guy who did the rear seems really good and should be sorted out quickly but the chick who did the front prob will be harder but is the least of my worries, once the back is fixed it will be fine. hopefully get it checked out this week. Nervous! some ppl are saying for sure it will be fixable but a some are saying its screwed.

Argh that would suck! Yea im third party, the bloke behind has third party and was heaps cooperative but the stupid lady in front is the one im worried about. Put some nice chips in the screen. Yea it dosn't look that bad at all but i got it home and had a good look and its not looking good. Heres some more photos

Friday night was taking missus home, lady driver jumps accross a median strip, as she does her hub cap flies off and wacks my bonnet and front window, then after slowly braking because the lady is now stopping in the middle of the road in front of me, a guy wacks into my rear!. bloody fantastic. Had a unnoficial guy look at it and he reckons its a write off. SOOOO GAY! had it for like 3 months! Anyway see how it goes. Fingers crossed its fixable. Will probably loose alot outta this one Heres the pics i know everyone loves! Although they bring tears to my eyes. So incredibly pissed off!

Guys i bought a laptop about 4 months ago wanting to replace my PC. Hav just WON a new PC which is very nice. So yea wanting to sell the laptop. Its a pentium M 2.0ghz 17" Widescreen 1440x900 2gig ram 160gb hard drive (2x80gb through RAID) 256mb geforce 6800 dual layer burner card reader dvi out 4 usb ports WLAN card inbuilt infared port "Multimedia boot up" (boots up faster for dvd's, mp3's etc) 2.1 speakers (slightly larger speaker on bottom of laptop + two on top - very well placed at bottom of screen) Small marks on surface of mouse button. Finally. Got off my arse and did something usefull. Got my mate to lend me his Simota (or however u spell it) and wacked it on, sounded much quieter, much nicer but the only thing spongy was the throttle..... wasn't heaps noticeable but definatly different to the cheapo pod, felt less responsive. might have just been me though.....after abit of driving around i actually started to miss the sound of gail force winds coming from underneath my bonnet. I am going down the coast end of year, think i will just wack on my stadard box for it, its a little annoying going up a hill cos its continually sucking hardcore! wonder what it sounds like from outside, this car making this sucking noise going past hmm....

could be because myne is a cheapo. Didnt think it was, owned a few before and this one looks alaot better quality. but oh well. If i get into some extra cash ill have to get a better one. Cheers

Yea i have just pre-ordered it from EB. Seems the date is Feb 07. Played it on my mates 360, its cool and all but really don't like the handling. Can't really go sideways at all, bikes handling should be better than cars but its not. I think they put way too much into the stupid clothing and stuff and not enough into the cars. Can't make the car look better except for a paint job. 3 mod levels are useless i think. Save the money and buy a better car as results arn't that noticeable. Got the R34 GTR, looks sweet with a custom paint job, goes quite well. Oh if you spin out, don't think about being cool and keeping the wheels spining till you face the right way, the game won' tlet you, instead you'll just keep doing a 360. ITS THE LITTLE THINGS!!! But yea its still cool, love just driving around, have to go lots of long drives which is pretty cool. Have bought a little adaptor that will connect the xbox controller to USB which is cool cos using keyboard on racing games is a joke! Got it from ebay if anyone is interested - $16! peace out Oh and ppl think it has a chance of coming out early as the 360 version came out early, i think they are just covering themselves. Hey 33 4 door ppl, has anyone removed the rear garnish? I'm gonna give it a whirl this weekend. i wanna paint it same as body colour. i tiried quickly last weekend, removed the visible screws but still didn't come off.

The final konnexion kit does look sweet. Not sure what im gonna go with, will wack on some wheels and some decent suspension and see what she looks like first, then either the final kit or the impul kit. Like the impul more but ditch the rear light cover thing. Man its really hard. I am not sure if I wanna keep it. Really makes it more responsive etc, sounds cool, but is just too loud for me. Thinking of selling it. So if anyone from canberra wants it, they can come have a listen/buy for like $55. The pod and adaptor as pictured before in this thread. I mean yea its cool, but its not for me at the moment. think ill just go for a K&N panel for the stocko. ah well. If anyone is interested pm me. I think maybe if i got a shorter adaptor it would maybe make it quieter but i couldn't be screwed and don't wanna waste money to find it dosn't improve it. was my car but not me. I saw it too. sorry, was in the falcon close behind it. friend is short and his seat somehow got jammed in the furtherest position, i am not tall but i fitted it well. But yea i was like wtf are u doin?? got scared for my car. Note to self: never let friend drive skyline

Nah its a massive sucking, like quite loud then you hear the blow off valve. before i had the pod yea i could hear a hissing but now its completely different. I took a video thing but didn't really work well. Microphone isn't too good ont he phone. Neway you can roughly heare it if u pump the volume. Notice you can't hear the engine at all, can slightly hear wind as im moving but then quite noticeably the sucking. Not a good example though. I think i may just be leaving it

Okay, looked at the piping and nope can't see any noticable cracks, will get trojan to have a look too. Used my phone to record a video while driving to work this morning, will upload it tonight. It was a low budget production, stars my steering wheel and various gauges, guest appearences include rather loud induction noise.

Mr Italy!: No i don't have my foot to the floor 24/7 ;-) if i had unlimited funds then i would but no. Dude if u put ur foot on the gas, just a little, go up a hill maybe, look at the boost gauge, does it go up? if yes then i get massive induction noise. The moment the turbo starts spooling up (boost gauge will go up now) it sucks hard core. the more i rev it the quieter it gets. so for no sound at all i gotta keep revs below 2200rpm or be going down a hill. Jaker34: Trojan motorsport put he pod where it is cos they said is has proven hp gains. They left the little venty thing to allow cold air to go in the area, sure hot air might still be floating around maybe. After some more prodding around, my pod is not a cheapo (i already have a cheapo lying around). I put the cheapo one on and i noticed less power and less throaty sorta sound but was still very loud. Contacted trojan and they are getting a shorter adaptor in for me and will see what it does. I did have a car previously with a CAI and yes it made a induction noise and yes it was fantastic. But this is insanely loud! Will try and get a recording of it from in the car just to show u guys the pain ;-) when in 5th or equivelant going up a hill applying the smallest amount of throttle i get this really high pitch ring, i swear i can hear everything the turbo is winging about.

interesting, they said its a really good spot as it stays the coolest and with the air comgint through the little scoop it will stay the coolest. But yea seemed alittle too far in. Paid 30 bucks for the adapt, sure won't be forking out another 30 bucks netime soon for a shorter one. But probably is the problem. lol its sooo loud. so dosn't suit a standard white sedan ;-) ill have a look around and see how cheap i can get a shorter adaptor, of if someone would swap with me. (may suit another application).

Attached some photos. Yea its really loud. I think the fact its sorta in the fender, the sound really gets amplified somehow. Think i will get some sound deadening material or something and stick it in there somehwere. its weird cos its dead quiet until the turbo starts up, then you can basically hear every whine it makes. and don't get me wrong it sounds pretty nice (abit weird as its abit outta place without the exhaust note to back it up) but i drive it heaps and sometimes i wanna hoon othertimes i wanna take it easy, and when taking it easy its just so freaking annoying! All i wanted was a meaner sorta sound, now its just like HEY>>>>>I GOT A TURBO>>>>>AND ITS NOW REALLY LOUD SO EVERYONE CAR HEAR!!!!!! Cos i don't mound about the blow off sound but its the enormous sucking sound the moment the turbo spools. NEWAY. fun fun. will see what ppl think about the sound deadening. Cos i wouldn't know where to start with making a box for it. The guys at Trojan put the pod on + adaptors, they left the little scoop thing as to provide some cool air constantly going towards the pod. Definatly feels alot more responsive! Heres the pic
