Hi Everyone, I recently bought my mum an R32 Skyline to go to and from work with. She bought me a car when I was 17 and sold hers, so now I have done the same for her as I now catch the train to work. The catch is that I would like to be able to take this car out on weekends etc and be insured to do so. All insurance quotes have been above $3000 with an excess of nearly $3000. I am 22 years old and have a spotless driving record. I am on my silver liscence. Can anybody suggest the best way to get insurance with me as a nominated driver. She is currently on a policy paying $2300. Have been quoted by Famous, Shannons, and NRMA. Was very disappointed with Famous as so many people have spoken so highly about them. I have searched on this topic and couldnt find much information. Please forgive me for making yet another insurance thread. Thanks
