Sorry - it was a typo. It currently has a non turbo 2.5L engine and I would like to replace it with an RB25DET. The car is a 1993 model and the owner claims that this model has the same brakes as the R32 with a RB20DET which means brakes would not need to be changed.

Hi Guys, I am looking at buying an R32 with an RB25DET. I would like to take the engine out and swap it with an RB25DET for obvious reasons. I have been told that the brakes are the same on the 1993 R32 RB25DE as the R32 RB20DET, and that only the engine, gearbox will need to be changed. Can anybody please offer me some information, or advice ASAP as I am looking to buy tomorrow or the next. Thanks

I would like to get a manual. I am in the process of looking at one with all the goodies for 17 - so no more than that.

I sold the R33 GTR seat to Mist and fitted it for him. The seats go straight in. The only thing involved in the change over is undoing and tightening some screws. It is extremely easy to do and is an excellent upgrade. The swap wont take you more than 30 mins for both seats. Good luck with the sale.

I would prefer no sunroof but I am not too fusy about it. Car must be rust free and be able to pass a mechanical inspecion with flying colours.

I was not asking for performance reasons. Apparently the fuel pump on the 32's are amongst the worst you can get.... When I changed it on my last 32 it was not cheap. Can you please send me pics for this car asap. Please send to [email protected] I am very interested but going overseas tomorrow for a week...

I have sent you an email requesting pics. Might be a good idea to specify hom much rego is left. Also does it still have the standard fuel pump installed?

I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. And take a camera. Fast cars, promotional girls, alcohol..... Bit of a sausage sizzle in the night clubs etc.
