  1. collecting parts for 26/30 conversion but need a couple of answers.... 1) rb30 or rb26 head gasket? 2) looking for maximum torque and 7000rpm limit, any advantage to swapping std cams out for regrinds...if so what specs? 3) anyone used a copper head gasket, any dis/advantages? 4) worth 'O' ringing the block? 5) is the std nissan head gasket better than the cometic? 6) will the std RB30 balancer be ok under 7000rpm? 8) suggested single turbo for low end torque? cheers guys

  11. never received any response and how long does it take to borrow a camera anyway....post the pics up for other buyers then don't worry,i won't be doing any deals with you as it all seems a bit sus to me fellas, caveat emptor i'm out
  12. i'd be wary of this deal he listed 2 of these on ebay, says the guy never picked it up but there was feedback left to the contrary i also asked him for an actual pic of the ecu including the serial number,pm'd him my email.....just ignored me call me suspicious but you make up your own mind....or just pick it up even better
  13. how come you aren't using them in your 26/30 build? are they any better than splitfires for the dicking around needed to fit them? ps any luck with chasing down the CP's from the states,i have a set that i am using but you are welcome to have a look at them if it's any help, the spec sheet with them is very similar to the one in your post except the P.O Number is RB30/26 .827 cheers paul
  14. ....depends, some models need an igniter some have it built in such as series1 vs series2 rb25det
  15. to suit what? any pics
  16. manifold is for sale as well
  17. i have an internal gated 0.82 housing on my Garrett GT30R that i would swap for yours, comes with actuator, rod and custom bracket PM me if you are interested, mines done about 700km from new
  18. just make sure you do the crank snout conversion to the longer drive(collar) as this was the failing of the R32 RB26's
  19. only HKS made the 3037 which is their version of the Garrett GT30 in which case it should have a 0.73 or 1.06 turbine housing that compressor housing looks like it says 0.8 A/R....never heard of that size offered in a GT30 frame,if it says 0.6 then it's likely the turbo is a Garrett GT3076,only real way is to post the cartridge number btw those impellers look burred on the tips, has a foreign object been through the air intake?...may just be the photo or dirt, worth clarifying though if it is a GT3076 i reckon they are the pick of streetable turbos for the RB25DET,only better one would be the HKS3037.....so win win good luck with the sale
  20. $125...with the aforementioned backing plate ^cheers dano4127^
