This controller is not cheap and it does not do SFA. It is a computer unto itself, it intercepts the signal form the G sensor and decided what needs to happen based on your input - it has 5 seperate maps for 5 different styles of driving and each can be adjusted to be more or less sensitive to Gforce, additionally a switch can be installed to allow you to quick-switch between two seperate setups. Personally, my switch switch's between aggressive AWD and bog stock for day to day use. It also has a full datalogging facility.

I had a 2wd switch but I ditched it when I had my tourque split controller installed. Kinda wishing I didnt now however, but apparently taking the fuse out under the dash is much dodgyness and your far better off removing the fuse from under the hood.

AFAIK the RB26 can rev out alot better then the RB25/20?

Okay, prehaps i should rephase my question... ATM I change gears at about 7000 RPM if im driving spirited, is this too high for a RB26? It doesnt redline till 7.5. If I keep reving the car out this high will I do dammage or can the RB26 take thoes sorts of RPM comfortably?

hey just a question for RB26 owners... What RPM do you guys normally change gears at when accelerating but not racing or anything (eg from a standstill at the lights or when coming onto a highway)?

how good are the skyline heat gauges anyway? Mine never seems to move once the car heats up, however my oil temp gos up and down depending on how much im flogging her...
