Have dropped 5-7kg bodyweight and now down to around 65kg something, the workload will keep up for a while too so since eating what I *should* be frequently is not practical I might try and clean up what little food I do eat and get down to a lean 60kg and then work towards squatting 120kg x 20. Current best is 10reps so easily achieveable. x2 bw for 20 would be pretty cool . At a training course this whole week then exams next week (which I need to pass) so unfortunately doesn't look like I'll be making ProRaw 2 (big powerlifting comp in Melbourne this weekend).

My FF membership expires in December at which point I'll switch and pay Scotty the $20/week instead at PTC Brisbane.

  8. Quote from Markos recently from another forum that sounds like it may apply to you, "So when I get overweight women come to the gym, telling me they jog, walk, ride, swim, and obviously f**king eat, they are shocked when they see that my strongest fittest girls all weigh under 60kg, and lift more than most men."

  10. I'm after a driver and passenger side seat belt helper arm thingy (see pic below), basically saves you from pulling a lat muscle everytime you gotta reach for the seatbelt (cos I'm a hyuuuge kent)(no not really I need it cos my roll cage makes it hard to get the seatbelt when it's fully retracted etc)

  14. Sadly I agree with this. Can only prepare for the worst by doing all you can to prevent and making sure your insurance is up to date and you're know what you're going to get out of it (agreed value) if the car does get stolen

  16. Often wondered that myself. I asked my alarm installer how long it would take a thief to defeat an alarm system and he said if the alarm install is bad, can take 1-2mins to bypass, if it's done well, still only 5-6mins to bypass, this is of course assuming the thief knows their stuff. Steering wheel locks (i.e. club locks) can be defeated in 30-90seconds with a puller type device readily available to anyone to buy off the internet (they are marketed towards repo guys). So although a good deterant, don't put too much faith in them. Kill switches, if the thief knows what to look for they can usually find where the owner has put them with a bit of common sense, or they just bring their own tools to manually bypass them, working out what needs to be overcome i.e. fuel/spark etc. CCTV footage doesn't stop the car from being taken, and in a lot of cases even if it shows the thieves it doesn't mean jack shit to the cops because they can't properly identify the culprits and/or don't have them in custody. IMO the only safe bet is to have full comp insurance and GPS tracker installed stealthily if you want any (real) hope of retrieving the car, and to try and park it in a secure place.
