I was annoyed that they called boarding for a flight, So I had to put down my Taittinger and wander up to the gate. Surprise surprise they were not open yet. Lucky there was another lounge near the gate (unfortunately business only) so I was able to relax have a drink, then jump the priority queue and be one of the first on the plane anyhow. airports suck eh.. On a side note this is the first time I have had a hotel room with it's own sunroom overlooking the pool. Should be nice to relax in the evening.

Shit I didn't even start a warm up lap...that started 20 meters after the crash. but sooner or later one must return to the sceen of the crime. done sandown a few time and mallala just not been back there.

next year..hoping to be back by then, will depend on date. really want to go back to winton tho, as not been back since the crash and need to prove a point

was chatting to Richo re the rs-rr on the weekend apparently they don't heat cycle well, give them a good thrash on the track and they go off in a couple sessions. friend was running one of the R32 GTRS on the weekend on rs-rr's as well and 2 track days in and they gone. I don;t think I would be running them personally. one I think i'm going to try however is the Nankang NS-2R , they running them on Starr's BMW and the feedback so far has been nearly as good as RS3's for 120$ a corner. next time I do a day will throw a fresh set on to try.
