  1. Trying to figure out what i just bought! Its an R32 GTR, but i cant tell what else? It has a nismo gauge cluster, the bumper cover has aero vents, and the rear discs are cross drilled.

    chassis no BNR32-009085

    Model: KBNR32RXFSLMZG

    KG1 G

any info is appreciated! The only info i got was:

Geoff when looking at the vehicle build plate, blue, there will be a build date. The code you will see will be the year of reign of the current emperor. Look for the following codes, and look at the corresponding year in the Gregorian calendar.

    [*]H1 - 1989

    [*]H2 - 1990

    [*]H3 - 1991

    [*]H4 - 1992

    [*]H5 - 1993

    [*]H6 - 1994

    but there are no "Gs"

    thanks for the help

  2. I do indeed. Car was done before I bought it by RacePace.

As for duty cycle, not sure but since new turbos are going in soon I'm installing 600cc injectors, PFC and 044 with swirl pot.

why put the cas at full advance? wouldnt the knock meter just pull timing or are you running hi octane fuel?

also do you know how to get in touch with the guys at Racepace? email or website would be great. I want to know how much he will charge to fit 12 clutches in my r33 transfer case. thanks

  3. My GTR33 has 260rwkw on the stock computer with cam gears, adjustable reg, stock airbox, full exhaust, steel wheeled turbos and a bit of head work.

That is about the limit of the fuelling system though and it is on full static advance.

do you mean that the CAS is at full advance?

also do you know what duty cycle your injectors are at? Thanks alot for the help

  4. Hey Guys -- got a 100% stock R32 in the shop right now. I am building a 3" exhaust and a new fmic setup, bu the customer wants to upgrade the turbos, but stay on the stock fuel system.

We dont have too many R33 gtr turbos here, but we do have the 2860R and 2560Rs, which are designed to bolt-on to a GTR.

What is the limits of the stock system? Ive been searching, but most everyone ive found runs a powerFC.

    thanks

  5. I have an R32 GTR rear cradle (subframe) which is still in the rear half cut if you're intrested.

how much are you looking to get? i am located in the US so it might not make sense... let me know

anyway, i was thinking that all GTRs will have HICAS, and the R33 should have an electronic diff? Does anyone know if the rear brakes are the same? Also i believe the GTR axles are beefier? Anyone know if the diff covers and housings are the same??

    thanks guys

  6. i went to great pains to find a CAST manifold as all the tubular ones we see in the Uk crack. maybe not too bad for road usage, but with the thermal stresses of long periods of WOT on track, they ALL seem to crack.

A properly designed and manufactured thick wall stainless steel manifold will have huge power gains over a traditional cast log manifold and there is no reason why it should crack. We have seen gains of ~60-80 whp

just by reducing the backpressure in the exh manifold.
