-

Trying to figure out what i just bought! Its an R32 GTR, but i cant tell what else? It has a nismo gauge cluster, the bumper cover has aero vents, and the rear discs are cross drilled.
chassis no BNR32-009085
Model: KBNR32RXFSLMZG
KG1 G
any info is appreciated! The only info i got was:
Geoff when looking at the vehicle build plate, blue, there will be a build date. The code you will see will be the year of reign of the current emperor. Look for the following codes, and look at the corresponding year in the Gregorian calendar.[*]H1 - 1989
[*]H2 - 1990
[*]H3 - 1991
[*]H4 - 1992
[*]H5 - 1993
[*]H6 - 1994
but there are no "Gs"
thanks for the help

I do indeed. Car was done before I bought it by RacePace.
As for duty cycle, not sure but since new turbos are going in soon I'm installing 600cc injectors, PFC and 044 with swirl pot.
why put the cas at full advance? wouldnt the knock meter just pull timing or are you running hi octane fuel?
also do you know how to get in touch with the guys at Racepace? email or website would be great. I want to know how much he will charge to fit 12 clutches in my r33 transfer case. thanks

My GTR33 has 260rwkw on the stock computer with cam gears, adjustable reg, stock airbox, full exhaust, steel wheeled turbos and a bit of head work.
That is about the limit of the fuelling system though and it is on full static advance.
do you mean that the CAS is at full advance?
also do you know what duty cycle your injectors are at? Thanks alot for the help

Hey Guys -- got a 100% stock R32 in the shop right now. I am building a 3" exhaust and a new fmic setup, bu the customer wants to upgrade the turbos, but stay on the stock fuel system.
We dont have too many R33 gtr turbos here, but we do have the 2860R and 2560Rs, which are designed to bolt-on to a GTR.
What is the limits of the stock system? Ive been searching, but most everyone ive found runs a powerFC.
thanks

I know the splitfire coilpacks are a more powerful substitute for the stock units, however i recently heard of swapping over 2JZGTE coilpacks. has anyone tried this? Do they plug in, or is wiring necessary? any info is much appreciated!

hey guys, thanks so much for the responses. Im still totally unsure about this! The blue plate says the following:
E-BNR32
Chassis no: BNR32-009640
KH2 G
RB26DETT 2568
FS5R30A RC41
So whatever you guys can take away from this i appreciate!!! The carpet is grey cloth, and the tach is black with orange needles?
thanks guys

I have an R32 front clip. How can you tell from a VIN if a clip is an early or late R32? Also, if it has a speedo cable, i assume it is an early R32?
Is it in the VIN (model) or chassis #? any help is appreciated. thanks

I have an R32 GTR rear cradle (subframe) which is still in the rear half cut if you're intrested.
how much are you looking to get? i am located in the US so it might not make sense... let me know
anyway, i was thinking that all GTRs will have HICAS, and the R33 should have an electronic diff? Does anyone know if the rear brakes are the same? Also i believe the GTR axles are beefier? Anyone know if the diff covers and housings are the same??
thanks guys
-
anyone have any way of identifying these subframes??? please help!!! thanks
-
I need to purchase (1) R32 and (1) R33 **GT-R** subframe. Does anyone have any good ways to tell the GT-R apart from the GTS-T and the R33 from the R34?
Any advice is appreciated!! Thanks a lot

i went to great pains to find a CAST manifold as all the tubular ones we see in the Uk crack. maybe not too bad for road usage, but with the thermal stresses of long periods of WOT on track, they ALL seem to crack.
A properly designed and manufactured thick wall stainless steel manifold will have huge power gains over a traditional cast log manifold and there is no reason why it should crack. We have seen gains of ~60-80 whp
just by reducing the backpressure in the exh manifold.
What Gtr Did I Just Buy?
