take it to court, represent yourself, tell the magistrate what happened, and YES, you are pleading guilty, the cop was beyond the reasonable of doubt that you were speeding unless he has shown you a photographic evidence of you speeding, plus you said the cop was recording the conversation? is that right? is so, he HAVE to tell you this scenrio/case will or have been recorded, and WILL ask for your permission if you wish this to occur.
As you the defects, you have to deal with it.
But if you can put up with a good fight in court, 95% of the time, the magistrate will let you off, and will saying like "don't come back"
but then again the worst case scenario is pay the fine.
