The rev pills sound good cause I think if you use, say a 6800 or 6900 it's gives you time to shift before bouncing. Guy's they are talking about banning Racing fuels and Octate Boosters on the Street. Racing fuels are banned as it is,,,but not Additives,,,Thats the One they want Dead. We have been using Optimax since buying the car last September and never had it ping and I Snot it big time!!!!. I really do give it a hard time. We are standard apart from 5 Zigen cat back. We have used an Octane booster once and could see no difference at all,,, actually we used it on the Canberra run. I have used the Synegy once and it was no better, then again it didn't ping either. After doing some checking,,,Mobil says there's is guaranteed 98 and Shell is around 96....Stuffed if I know,,,,but I'm sticking with Shell at the moment. We have a station 5 minutes away and racing the guy next door with his Commadore running 350kw's at the treads on full tanks is a ball. I might be able to help. 1st sounds like they have been under the dash and connected the timer wrong....just a thought. 2nd,,,,yep thats normal,,,,idiots can't put tyres on rims these days without scratching them,,,,Don't Take the Car TILL thats fixed. 3rd,,, easy fix,,,all they will do is grab one side of the bonnet while someone holds the other side and twist it from the front....sound Yuk but thats the easy fix. Bet you any money thats what they will do and you won't know. It just the norm in Beating. Just make sure it lines up before you take the car. Check out the height of the front rubber adjusters. They should be basically the same height. Question them if one a lot higher than the other. 4th,,,,No bloody Panel shop gives two f**ks about your battery. They only start your car when they want to move it and thats it. 5th I'm not liking this one,,,why don't the parts match,,,I would be asking for wheel alignment printouts and then get a second opinion. Guy's I did say "Use it as it's intended" meaning flat changes and Super fast changes. 4rd gear syncro ring will be first to go(I'm pretty sure 4th & 5th use normal syncro's like a GTR) and 3rds braking ring will suffer next.....Just a word of warning thats all. Remember our boxes are better than WRX's but they are not bullit proof. Jimbo double shuffles will be okay cause you are letting the brake ring do it's job. Neil.

Just a word of warning about Short -Shifters. If you install one and use as it's intended ie very quick shifts,,,,you won't have your syncro's for long. Neil
