i may be wrong coz dont know much about 33's but didnt the r33 gts4 have a 25det in it so wouldnt it be easier to buy a 33 gts4??? and as you stated you wanted an r33 ok my bad i figured the 33 was a 25det in the gts4 but its NA thought it would be the same as a 32

spotted an r31 passage tonight had a good chat with him said i'd say i'd seen him, saw him at marion next to a yellow s15 prob about 2 hours ago if that pretty chilled passage rb20de auto though but pretty good for a passage and a stock rb20de revved out at 7ish - 8 was pretty astonished thought it was brilliant sorry about the drunken slur PaulMAC.

yeah i might have to go with the newzealand idea, i was just trying to do the easiest conversion as i dont have alot of knowhow about engine conversions so if i went with an rb20det i'd prob just buy an r31 i got roughly a grand or so to purchase the turbo gear so the freight really isnt a problem if i can get it all for about $400 coz i dont think it would be anymore then $600 for freight would it?? and yeah blue dynamite i've heard their turbo's are shitty and nasty so i prob would have upgraded anyway got a few grand to spend ontop of everything else aswell im just trying to find out what the better option would be, and would prefer the l24et idea as there really isnt many in adelaide i know there has been atleast 2 that i've known of and prob a few more, still debating about other vehicles just trying to figure out what i want and whats suitable but im keen on the turbo charged l24e as that was my plans before but a pole had to ruin that fun cheers Paul.

gday just after some prices on turbo manifold, injectors, afm, ecu and intake plenum if all of this is needed if anyone can let me know some prices as loan will be approved within the next few days or so and im licenseless at the moment so got time and cash to work on it, if any one has anything they may be willing to part with let me know its not a certain thing just yet but if its all easily affordable and easy enough to put together i'm keen, cheers Paul

ok found out today that this dash isnt a turbo dash the boost guage isnt for the turbo's boost as such its for air flow through extractors or something i'll put in a pic for ya if your interested

well i got quoted $950 for a rebuild in S.A with flat top pistons which was a great deal somewhere around the grand mark but you might get lucky and perhaps find an l24E on ebay for $200 which there was not too long ago with only 110,000kms on it Paul.

yeah i seen that down at caddle crash repair's it is the red series 3 wasnt it? i was talking to the feller today when i was pulling my crap outta my car, his car wasnt stolen just was drunk and ran then reported it stolen, was a bad weekend for caddle crash repairs first four cars they towed which were all write off's were all skylines, i took a couple of pics of the red 31 i'll post em up if ya want

spotted a pretty nice yellow 33 with a black bonnet on hindley street last night followed by a maroon r33 and prob saw about a million other skylines down there more then i usually do in town

doing a manual conversion in the mr30's would i need to change the tail shaft?? and the other question is what clutches are compatible? as i got a qoute from grand auto and they said a grand for everything except i'll prob need to get my own clutch just doing some research to find out whats the best for it $$ cheers paul
