  3. Yes a R33GTR one fits perfectly as long as its has an rb26 engine (or an rb25 with different induction)

Hi from the UK I am looking to take my 32GTR back to 100% factory spec and have been able to get the paint code for the original wheels as unfortunately no one in the UK seems to have the wheel paint code. The body colour is on the chassis plate BLO which I know is the only 32GTR special order colour and is quite rare . Pretty sure its the only one in the UK in this colour so it seems worthwhile taking it back to stock especially as it was very close when I imported it . Any help greatly appreciated . some pics with the non std wheels ( same car different light ) I now have almost all the original parts except an origonal exhaust which may have to come from Japan.
  6. Unfortunately no and to be honest thats not what the car was built for but .................. it would be rude not find them out even if its only once . Tyres will have to be as fitted which are goodyear F1s 245 - 40 -18 I am shortly getting an Iphone and theres an app that can work out 0-60 times etc using the GPS . A few of the guys have tried it in the UK and it is supposed to be quite accurate. this will have to do untill I can find an airfield or similar.

Finally fixed the 4wd and managed a high boost run Figures are using a Dynapack so the figures are at the HUBS - 503 bhp with 440ftlbs toruque Ive done one on a rolling road that came out at 606 at the wheels but thats not as accurate as the hubs figure Best bit is that its got max tourque at about 4500 rpm and it does not tail off much till over 6000 rpm

  9. Obviously take the car back ! Re a foolproof test for 2wd Jack the whole rear of the car up off the ground with a decent jack from the middle rear. Make sure the jack wheels are pointing in the same direction as the car wheels. Put in gear apply the throttle a small amount . The rear wheels go round - if the awd is working the car will edge forward . If they dont its in 2wd mode

  11. Its not an everyday road car but at the moment the profec b is set at 1.2 and 1.56 . I have the Greddy remote boost switch on the steering wheel which swops it over at a touch (definately the best toy I have ever bought )
  12. my recent dyno run at 1.2 & 1.3 bar ----------------- 526.8 bhp and 460ft ilbs torque Unfortunately ran out of time so did not get to try it at 1.6

  14. If i do anything its got to be something thats not been done before as I will be replacing a genuine nismo bodykit thats on the car now. That rules out r34 front (and r33) Pretty much finished the rest of the car only painting left so wanted something off the wall . shame the r35 wont fit ( in fact that probably shpould be - just as well as bank manager would have a fit )

  16. Has anyone considered this or done it. You may well ask - why , and thats a good question , but please humour me . I am looking to do something really different I suppose "could you fit the R34 front to a m35" is the same question. This is not "would it bolt straight on" ( I wish ) but - are the dimensions close enough to make it possible using the stock or aftermarket panels. I am not worried about the internal brackets etc. but more the relative heights of the bonnet and wings . All comments welcome including of any along the lines of ............ mad as a box of frogs
  17. Thanks but it appears to be part of the r32 4WD wiring diagram which I got from this site. If anyone knows if its the same as the Stagea apart from the extra wheels sensors that would be great.

Has anyone got the wiring diagram for the Stagea attessa ecu showing the actual "pin outs" I am running permanent 2WD as seem to have lost power to the attessa ecu (no ECU light at all and the attessa pump does not make a sound even when ignitiois switched on) This is a recent problem . The attessa has been working in 4wd mode fine indeed recently got an error code from the ECU indicating the g sensor which I replaced Have checked all fuses and the 4WD and ABS relays and fuses. The car is a manual conversion and has an RB26 engine which had had the gtr ecu wired into the loom . Its also has a HKS F con pro gold. Any help much appreciated.
  19. Well after a day and a half of taking the car apart the problem has been solved. Swopped every relay even remotely to do with the abs or attessa using the spare Stagea. Still the lights on. Last thing check the G sensor. Suddenly it all makes sense. The sensor is showing red not white but more importantly its not in the normal place. The car has been converted to a maunal with RB26 in japan so has a different center console which has a small opening compartment just behind the gear lever. With this in place the g sensor cant be mounted in the normal postion so it had been wedged in place about four inches further back. Over time it had worked itself loose and was effectively moving about with the car - not good for a g sensor. I have removed the compartment and refitted a new sensor in the correct position so that it is bolted to the body as normal and does not move. Will have to make a cover for the hole but no problem as a retrim was planned for the consul anyway. The ecu lights not on and the wheels dont spin........................................unless of course I use the launch control. Thanks for everyones help

  21. Not a stupid question at all. But its not happened for sure . I was there for the recent dyno test and it was a 4wd one . Also the power has been confirmed within 10 bhp on another 4wd dyno when it was origonally mapped by the guy who built the engine ( was 515) Re looking at the fault codes 7 5 2 43 as far as I undersatnd gives 43 which is supposed to be - ABS actuator motor , motor relay and circuit Ive changed the 4wd relay already so will try to find the ABS one and then its looking for a dodgy connection first as thats more likely (IMO) than the motor (I Hope ! )

All the work was done at the same time when the engine was out this included the ecu change (f con from power Fc ) rebuilt forged engine ,clutch,transfer box etc Before the work power was 415 bhp with about 350 ft lbs of torque The spinning problem has only become noticeable since the engine work but I dont think it was there before because even though the 4wd light was on it would spin all four wheels (only ever in first gear and never just the rears) now only the rears ever spin As the car was run in any problem was not noticed straight away. The abs light has come on quite recently and this was definately after the spinning was noticed. .
  23. some progress ? Have bled the attessa system and changed fluid at the same time as had not been done since the car came to the uk. A few bubbles but nothing obvious . No change Now I am fortunate in as much as I have a few other Stageas about so swopped the "easy to change parts first" Changed the awd and abs fuses and relay No change Also swopped attessa ecu with another with the same part no. This gave the same error code immeadiately as the original ecu 7 slow 5 2 4 3 will try diagnostic mode next....................unless of course anybody has a better suggestion
  24. will be trying this in the next few days just wondered if anyone knew the error codes . Re bushes. Done some and arbs - I can order anything through whiteline as I have an account with them but the problem is stock levels in the uk ( have been waiting 2 months for one order) I was going to do the rest of the bushes and fit adjustable arms soon any way but this came up so need to do this first.
  25. Ok have found the ecu. At the moment it does the following when the ignition is turned on flashes seven times slowly then flashes five - two - four - three times all quickly. Then repeats 75243 etc Any ideas greatly appreciated
