  1. So sad to see a skyline out of shape Feel for you man In terms of prices, there are a few options New Front Bar Look for people wrecking an R33. You may get a stock front car for under $500 if your lucky. You could spend a bit more and get an eftermarket one, but that will be a bit over a grand. New Re-Enforcment Bar Once again, find off someone wrecking an R33. You should get this fairly cheap. One thing to look out for, if people have installed a front mount, this bar is sometimes cut, so find one that hasn't been cut. New Radiator You may as well get an alloy radiator. You can buy them from just jap for $400. Easy to fit too. There is someone in the group buys sections selling some china alloy ones for about $250-300 too. New Air Conditioning Condencer Not sure on this one, but look for some one with a wreck once again. Should be too bad. Airbags Refitted Have no idea on this one. New Windscreen These can be pretty expensive, but I'd call around to a few places. Not sure on figures tho, but could be up to $1k New Bonnet Just about impossible to find a stocko one. A wreck would be the only place, but most wrecks have damaged bonnets You can get an aftermarket one, but be careful to get one thats legal. Do some research on this. New Headlights These will be a few hundred. Try get off a wreck and bargain the price down. When looking for these parts, be careful to get series 2 parts only for the bonnet, front bar and lights. If you get series one anything, the rest won't fit. Since you are replacing the whole lot, you could go for a series one face, by getting all of these as series one parts. They will all fit. So remeber... all series 2, or all series 1. Hope this helps a bit
  2. That sounds really good. I'm thinking about getting a respray next year sometime to freshen my whole car up. Something like this would be good to keep it looking fresh
  3. Out of those three options I'd go for the mx5. They're a good little car. Very well balaced and handle really well
  4. Check out this link click here This is the guy I got mine from, but he doesn't seem to have any in that size atm. Sure he'll get some more soon.
  5. I'm not convinced on those specs. I thought it was a bit heavier and also the auto is a 5 speed auto, not 4 speed.
  6. WGMG... when you have made a prototype circuit that works perfect on a bread board and then desides not to work as soon as you put it together on a PCB. So pissed off with it right now
  7. If at all possible, an engine bay pic would be nice Tell them to pop the bonnet
  8. When you put an aftermarket steering wheel on, you need to plug the horn into the existing plug. There is a plug with four legs. Two are for the airbad and two for the horn. Normally this plug will have on plug removed. This is one of the horn plugs. This means that the horn connects between the other single pin and the outside casing of the wheel. The other two pins need to be bridged to allow the car to think that the airbag is still present. If you put your old steering wheel back on, you need to plug everthing in properly and the airbag light should go off. Check that you have pluged everything correctly, if that looks ok, get a multimeter and check where the break in connection is. There should be connection between the two airbag pins. Hope this helps... sorry if its a bad explination, but it is 2am... been awake forever
  9. Looks very clean. Nice find Bet you can't wait to take it home
  10. That looks awesome. I'm really interested in getting something like this in around Jan next year. Everything is a bit mad atm. I wouldn't mind seeing that vinyl to get an idea of what it feels like. I might give you a call a bit closer to the time
  11. Can you give ball park figures for a full leather retrim. Front and rear seats. I know prices will vary with different option, but just a rough idea would be good. Also, can you put up a few pics of your work. Cheers
  12. When it comes to overtaking, you can go above the speed limit by 10%. In other words, in that 80 zone, you can over take at a max speed of 88 km/h. Mind sound like crap, cause it takes forever to get past, but that is how it is. Bad luck mate.
  13. Glad to hear you got her back. Punish the prick that stole her
  14. Thats not a good idea. I have too much uni work to do... stop distracting me lol
  15. Best to just get it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry
  16. fwd skyline as if tell your friend to go drive his lancer home
  17. Pics would be good. But i'd say leave it black. Or get someone like custom carbon to make a carbon version. Looks hot as
  18. If you drive responsably, you won't have that problem
  19. I'm quite happy with mine. Attention level hasn't changed at all. At the end of the day, you're driving a Skyline, so if some commo is looking for a race to prove his manhood, he will be there... revving his engine whether you have custom plates or not. Get something clever that you like, not just something just for the sake of having custom plates
  20. yea, you have to ring and ask. no site available to check
  21. It will have to pass inspection. I haven't read your specs yet, but I can already see an atmo bov. That won't pass. Also, is your pod secure? There will probably be a few other things, so it won't be easy I would say.
  22. Not too often. Don't want to thrash the engine like that all the time. Would be interesting to do though
