nah i pulled the operation off flawlessly
paul; no he didnt charge much, i wont say how much BUT hes a very good mechanic - job was done in 3-4 hours. and if anyone needs anything done hes available for cash jobs. hes a bloody legend
ken; the whole cost from start to finish was about $400 (including head gasket and a full service i did today with plugs oil coolant etc)
it didnt cost much, just left me without a car for a month

yeh ken shes workin sweet and runnin pretty well on 10psi. ive used 1/2 tank so far tonight. might go out again soon
my turbo aint water cooled. those two hoses are coolant hoses arent they?
the only way to tell if a valve is bent is by pulling them out or running a comp test. if a valve is bent then it wont get a good seal on the valve-seat and therefore compression will be low
mike; yeh you need to make sure theyre all sealing properly. you cant tell a bent valve just by looking at it as all you see if the seat and the bend is normally in the shaft.
its usually the ignition module (from personal experience) if the car develops a misfire, not if its always there...
did you check all the valves when you had the head off? do a compression test again, please
