try using one of those drill guides to start the hole, normally makes drilling through metal a little easier

ive got a T04E, big power, big lag. wouldnt recomend it for street driving

firstly take caps lock off secondly it doesnt apply to gtst's thirdly buy a bleed valve and up the boost properly. if you do some cowboy job like this you could cause the turbo to overboost, resulting in blown turbo and possibly engine damage from a lack of fuel/detonation.

maybe try swapping over the ignition module, its the little silver box which amplifies the current supplies to the coils... its at the back of the rocker cover did you get my PM?

ok, i have no use for this gearboot leather tho so would be happy to get rid of it

if its something busted on the inside ie 1 cylinder has dropped out youd be blowing smoke everywhere and its be breathing through the breather pipes on top of the rocker covers do you have any of these symptoms? also oil pressure would be low and water temp high it may be a knock sensor - causing ECU to retard timing. have you tried replacing coil packs, ignition module, spark plug? what do the spark plugs look like? is cylinder 6 blackened? ie is it not firing at all?

i have a new gearstick boot for an R33 which i bought for my 32 but it didnt fit. will sell cheaply

make sure you get the exact figures, that will tell you if its a problem inside one of the cylinders whether it be head or bottom end. if they are all holding compression then its an electrical/ignition problem and theres a whole list of things that need to be checked. even check the exhaust cam timing, if its been retarded too far it will miss (you would have re-aligned this when putting the head back on)

shaun; you can buy an engine overhaul kit from nissan which incluides all gaskets and seals. maybe give this a go if you want R32 representation i could probably do it, depending on the situation of the car in october and its worthiness

i did a bit of research into this recently and found in the local products range splitfire and VDO werent great, autometer was the best. but probably not as good as all the jap-brand stuff yet $200 cheaper

so does the environment, and the up to $20,000 fine you will pay if you get caught. a 3" high flow cat wont restrict the system, thats your best option
