  2. plugs probably i get around 400
  3. try and get the gasket out - this will screw the turbo if chewed up inside. do the nuts up as tight as possible. theres no torque rating for them so just as tight as poss. maybe try getting some high tensile or copper nuts from bunnings when putting it back on

  9. paul and macka; my problem is i need to be at the head shop saturday to work on the head and pick it up so on sunday i can attempt to get it all working if were back 2-3pm then thats probably cool. i just need to know a time so that i can call luigi, ask him if its cool and take it from there. hes doin me a favour by meeting me at his workshop on saturday so i cant **** him around

  13. macka/paul saturday some time i need to go back to the headshop and re-seat the valves then bolt it back together. the guy was too busy today to do it. however being a saturday he aint guah wonah work later than 3-4pm and itll take 2 hrs. so as long as i can get to the head shop by 1-2pm itll be sweet but if we aint gunah get back on saturday by later hat afternoon i cant come down south. i want my car working again tristans comin over on sunday so anyone whos available at any time the help would be greatly appreciated. im not goin to autosalon.
  14. cam; look locally before nengun, cos shipping is a killer macka and paul; dont know if im comin down south for definate, been some complications with the head. what time would we be back on saturday?
  15. which welder did you end up using? cos i need to get my heater hose crack welded back up again i think. i havent double checked but i have a feeling it was busted in the removal of the head
  16. haha sounds like mine, but not as fun. i get to bolt the cylinder head back down! although i might have cracked one of the heater pipes which may cause some delays...
  17. so a 50-60 profile tyre is going to have enough sidewall stiffness when fully inflated that you can push hard through corners on the street and have decent handling (forget comfort) yet when de-pressurised can provide enough sidewall flex to launch well at the drags? seems a little too good to be true instead of getting a tyre which will do both jobs in a mediocre fashion, if youre really that concerned with 1/4 times get a second pair of tyres. also as i mentioned before sidewall flex isnt as big a concern for 4WD cars compared to 2WD. i understand the sme principles of squatting down to gain max traction apply but less so with the attessa system in place.
  18. hows the engine comin along adam? you got all your parts yet?
  19. im not too keen on the thermal wrap, if i were going to change the piping id probably HPC them. reason being that ive got BOV and small hoses coming off most of the intake pipes which makes it hard to wrap them properly
  20. ive got a lightened flywheel already... but you think the cam gear on the exhaust side is worth it?

NOTICE: The R33 leather boots DO NOT fit in R32's. the gearstick one will never fit with any amount of modifcation. however the handbrake leather does with some modification, it isnt a perfect fit but if your hanbrake leather is terrible and urgently requires replacing you may want to consider it. however as i said before R33 BOOTS DO NOT FIT INTO R32s.

  25. its fairly expensive were talking $3-$400 for the job done (including gasket, sealant and labour) pretty expensive when you could do it yourself for the price of the gasket - $100
