Hey guys, results are in and i have to say sorry as you won't be too impressed! The Corolla(88kw bigport) ran 16.8 sec with ECU problems The Cammed SSS did a PB of 15.449 @ 88mph (2.5 60ft) My 300ZX did 14.58 @ 95mph (2.279 60ft)

I'm actually expecting him to give me a good chop going down the strip, thats why i'm going to try get him in my lane for a run.

yeah i remember he told me they were poncams but i wasn't too sure myself. All the cars are on regular street tyres so don't expect magnificent times but it should be a fun night. Anybody in sydney is free to come down and have a look themselves .

Tomei Poncams 260 degree 11.25mm lift. Has the Poncams, Mild head work(shaved etc),pod+CAI, extractors, catback & a chipped Ecu.

They aren't that hard to work on, i can work on mine no problems.

No changes, just working on my driving. Changed the gearbox oil so it no longer crunches going into 4th gear, might be able to select 4th instead of bouncing off the limiter. The SSS goes really well, keeps up with my Z no problem and i'm gunna try line him up because my mate will be recording the night.

Hitting up WSID again this wednesday guys, any NA in sydney is free to join me. My mates cammed SSS will be running too.

Just like my car would run laps around his supra The civic i mentioned in my first post had pulled 3 car lengths on my NA Z, and i trap 97MPH so i bet it would have done 100+mph trap, they are fairly quick when done up properly.

No such thing as a "nismo tune". They're using nistune in that video and that R33 IS NOT STOCK. It has big cams and camgears dialled in for maximum power, good luck trying to replicate those results

Mate has a 15.3 sec VR commodore, it has a 3.89 diff ratio in it and beats my car to 100kph easy, after that though its like he's standing still

I'm still a green P plater too, that's why my 300zx isn't boosted ATM If i wasn't lazy getting my green P's i would have my fulls now, but no i have to wait another 3 months.

The NA rotors i have come across havn't been anything special, but then again all P platers i've come across havn't put up much of a challenge. Wow, didn't think an NA liner would get the chop from a commo. My NA Z absolutely DESTROYS my mates 15.3 sec VR commodore, kills the new SIDI SV6's without a problem too, rolling starts only add to the embarrassment for them

FG XR6's are pretty quick, one was doing 14.8 bog stock at WSID a little while ago, fairly expensive though. Believe it or not RX8's aren't as quick as they look on paper.

Out of boredom, plus the heat isn't doing me any favours. I want to hear your input too! Rant: VL Commodores - Slow, i don't know why P platers bother with modifying with these when they are so slow. Honda's - Would be my choice for an NA weapon, so much you can do to them and so many parts available it isn't funny. V6 commodores - Almost every one of these wankers wants to drag, and they are never anything special. NA Skylines - Never raced or driven one but friends have and they weren't anything quick(sorry guys ) NA Supra's - These guys are like the enemy for me, seems to always be a 300ZX vs Supra thing when i see one, they go well though. Pulsars - Mostly crap driven by lebo's who don't understand that a catback and pod don't add 100kw to the car, i've come across 3 or 4 that go really well. NA 300ZX's - Not a bad car if you maintain it, auto's are horribly slow though. As for quick NA's i've come across. Friend of mine has a N14 SSS with 11:1 compression, Tomei poncams, Full exhaust, intake & Ecu and it goes very well for an NA. Another mate has an AE92 GTi with a 20v blacktop 4AGE and it is freakin quick for a 1.6L. A little blue civic going around my area that blew my doors off on a rolling start =(

What about a HKS T62R?

T51R SPL should make more power, however i think the Kai T51R is rated to similar power to the T88-33D.

Says in the comments 450rwkw and running a .82 GT3540? 128mph Trap speed doesn't really add up to 450rwkw lol

Mate go for a Highflow, not worth putting on an ATR43 for 220rwkw.
