  1. hey mate the eccs redtop is the better of the lot (NICS, silvertop) that is if u change the ecu aftermarket or remap, port the head and match the manifold, get rid of the butterflies, u can port these heads/manifolds more than the silvertops, the cams are more aggressive, and the bottom end is roughly the same although it is fairly strong and can take a beating silvertop 6 port manifold can not go on to redtop 12 port (ECCS or NICS) as the ports dont match and coolant gallery closest to the radiator doesnt line up right head and bottom ends arent interchangeable different bolt patterns between the silvertop and redtops loom will connect in some spots, u can run the ignitor and coil packs, CAS is different and there are 3 different redtop ones, but u can use a silvertop CAS as it bolts up, injectors are smaller on the redtops anyway that is all i can think of, the many let downs on the redtops were the ecu, port design, inlet manifold. but if u modify them then they go fairly well, but it is hard to get gaskets now! i preferred my redtop over the 20/30det and the 25/30det, yea the 20/30det and 25/30det had the power and torque but they didnt have the reliablity and the ability to be thrashed or worked hard like the good old rb20, now the redtop is back in my VL plus its a gts-r motor so i didnt want to get rid of it as these are rare

  3. tmc_2 sent pm no its not a truck turbo, this was on my 25/30det and u find that most of the larger turbos with 0.82 or 1.06 rear housings will have split pulse housings

  5. hey all ***price drop*** i have a JD custom forward facing r32 rb20det/rb25de plenum it comes with rb20 silvertop runners which arent that much different to r32 rb25de runners (little smaller in the ports) but it will bolt up to the r32 rb25de it has tuned length trumpets inside, the capacity is about 5-6 litres i have used this plenum on my rb25/30 which made 320rwkw, that motor is now blown. The reason for selling is that it is not leaving much room to the master cylinder as i am now using my old redtop eccs version rb20det and the runners are a bit longer than the rb20det silvertop, the silvertop runners are included as they dont fit the eccs redtop im chasing $550 ONO and will post by COD at buyers expense feel free to ask any questions by pm or call me on 0422258117 cheers brad also check out my other thread FS: Garrett gt35 700hp http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=133659
  6. hey all i have a gt35 journal bearing turbo 700hp rated front housing is 0.70 A/R with 58mm wheel 4" inlet rear housing is a 1.06 A/R with 62mm wheel and is a t3 split pulse flange with 3.75 v-band outlet currently has an internal wastegate with 18psi actuator but can easily have an external adapted to the rear housing as u will see in the pics this turbo has not been run since being rebuilt about 8 months ago this turbo would be good for any type of rb25det/26det/30det will swap for something smaller and in good condition anything with a t3 flange and maybe a cash adjustment depending on the turbo your offering, so let me know what u have got will sell for $900 ono any questions pm me or call me on 0422258117 cheers brad
