r33 gtst didnt have t28's just look for a realistic power figure, consider what needs to be done (injectors computer etc) then work out what ur definition of lag is and use the search button as there is heaps of info on here especially for the rb25

around 150psi is normal for the age the engine,manual specifies 170psi with the limit value (lowest) 128psi, the variance limit shouldnt be more than 14psi beween cylinders u should have the engine close to operating temp at least, remove ALL plugs, attach gauge to cylinder (screw fitting is the better ones), depress pedal FULLY u must have WOT, crank till needle stops moving which should be about 7 engine revolutions, then record ur readings, urs seem good not much variation which is good im not sure if the readings will be lower or higher when stone cold as i have only done it when at operating temp. maybe someone can verify that as my engine is not finished yet to be running cheers, brad

they are red in colour and were in all turbo spec manual S15's auto ones are grey/purple and are just like rb25det/s14 ones

shit like this gets sussed as insider jobs a place that i used to work at got done over, one worker did some overtime and when the workshop was empty and there was only the service advisors in the front, he went around to every sensor etc and disconnected/covered em up so when the alarm was activated it couldnt detect movement anyways he came and loaded up cars, toolboxes etc and our own tools couldnt be replaced 100% because we didnt lock em up in a storeroom, we got given a set limit $5000 to spend on tools when cleary many of us had shitloads more than that, i also had a gt35 turbo in my bottom draw that they wouldnt pay for! sorry to everyone that has suffered, hope u get what is owed to u!

also there isnt any rockers under them so technically there cam covers putting rb26 cam covers on ur rb20 wont make it go any faster, the $300 odd dollars will be better spent elsewhere

yes if u have supporting valve springs and solid lifters as gtr cams are solid

also the machining of semi circles in the block so the rods clear when the crank is on compression and exhaust strokes, 5mm deep from memory, with the 4agze pistons u have to machine the piston crown, which is a bit sketchy, they protude the block a little pistons are the main let down cuz tomei 82mm are about $2000+ same goes with custom pistons that just leaves the 4agze as legend01 said using the rb20det pistons only brings it to 2056cc by using the mathematical equation hope this helps cheers brad

y dont u all just help the poor bloke out and answer his question yes it will fit!!! i converted my mates auto rb20det cefiro last weekend and used the rb20e gearbox as it was spare from another cefiro we have that now has an sr20det in it only NZ VLs had the rb20e as they had 1989 models, VLs stopped production in australia in 1988, so they got the leftovers the R33 and cefiro also had the rb20e which weighed more than the VL, now that is useless, it would be sooo slow hope this helps cheers brad

mate the autronic is just a motec but easier to use, tune and cheaper to buy, its australian made and the bloke that started autronic use to design and engineer for motec, autronics are great for there money ive had one for years which has been in 2 different engine setups. depending on what u get smc sm4 etc it will be between $2000-$4000, there not to bad to wire up as the harness is fairly simple on the smc models unsure about the new sm4 u can also put in 2 stage boost control, anti-lag, data logging, injector drivers etc, and u will still need to fine tune even though u have run the autotune also the support on the autronic forum is tops cheers brad

cheers adriano as adriano said i have moved back home and it is of no use to me due to destroying my 25/30det months ago, now have my old rb20det and this turbo is to big aquariuz6 - full boost (18psi) was seen at 3800rpm with supporting mods and has never been used since rebuild, also has a 360 degree thrust bearing
