The different turbos used are listed but I want to know if the specs of the one I listed are any good...

Hey guys, Quick qustion as I know nothing about turbos... I want a new turbo that is suitable for the street ie not a lag monster...the car doesn't need too much power, am after about 220-240rwkw. So since i know nothing about compressor housing sizes etc I was wondering if a turbo with the same specs as this would be alright on a highmount manifold for what I want: Turbo Cheers, Clakka

Cheers mate was thinking of doing turbo manifold and exhaust all at the same time so it definately sounds like the best idea.

Hi lads, Quick question I am looking at getting a new turbo and as a result I want to get a highmount manifold. I am keen on getting an externally gated turbo so my question is - If I get an externally gated turbo is it a waste of money getting one of the split dump and front pipe as there won't be an internal gate? If so would I be better off with a straight 3 inch dump and front? Also if I got a highmount would I neet to get an extra pipe to reach it from where the dump pipe would normally stop at the lowmount position??? Sorry for the newbie question... Cheers, Clakka

I put one on when I got my FMIC put on but as yet there has been no oil go into it so don't know if that's because there is no need for it or whether it is the way the mechanic put it on...

Hi lads, Just a quick question...I have an r32 with an rb20 and i want to know how to install an oil catch can...presently I have one in there but there are 2 hose coming from the nodules on the top of the rocker cover straight to the can so they aren't connected to eachother like they are from the factory with that 'U' pipe. Also there is no oil in the can (it has been on there for a month or so). My mechanic did this but from all of the pics I have seen this is not how it is done but I am not sure as I haven't had the car for long so I am only new to the skyline game. Any help (with pics) would be tops. Cheers, Clakka

Hey lads and ladies, I have an r32 gtst with an rb20det...I am after some cheap but good bolt on fo fast bits to increase power in the car...I would like 300rwkw but don't think this is possible without crackin the puppy open and doing some internal work... Currently I have: FMIC 3 inch cat back exhaust (will have a 3 inch split dump/front pipe installed and a 3 inch hi-flowed cat soon) POD Boost Controller What other parts should I get in my quest for power??? I was looking at a T3/T4 turbo (i believe, can't remember exactly), externally gated, that will be good for mid range and will spool 500 rpm later than stock (which I want as it is a street car with an occassional track outing)want to run about 16psi I know I need injectors and pump and reg but what kind Will I need a PFC Oil Cooler WHAT ELSE CAN I GET THAT IS A SIMPLE BOLT ON TO IMPROVE POWERAN AFFORDABLE ON A LIMITED BUDGET???

nah nothing dripping, but when I opened the radiator cap there appeared to be a white cloud of steam coming out...car was not long turned off it that would matter...
