  1. Hey all, As title says I have some stock gts-t suspension for sale. Looking for $200 ono. Still in good condition I think but am no expert - only 1 squeeky shock. PM me if interested.
  2. Hey all, I have a set of 4 door stock suspension. Looking for $200 for the lot. Provide a good ride but not 100% sure on the condition as I'm not an expert. Any offers PM me as they are just laying dormant in the shed.
  3. I have a set of G4's in my 32 and the only problem I have had is with the supplier screwing me around and giving me the wrong parts etc. The ride isn't too rough (I have 7(f) and 5®) and I really like them. Improved handling alot of adjustment in height and good bang for your buck. It is all well and good for people to pay them out but I find they are doing the job and am quite happy. My 2 cents anyway.
  4. I agree with NI5MO. I have spent some time looking into the actual legislation with respect to this matter both the overarching Act and the relevant Regulations. The offences listed on boostcruising have been in place since 16 March. There is no mention what so ever of these ridiculous impounds. The Government cannot bring in 12 month trials starting in different areas at different times. How is that to be imposed if you are merely driving through an area with these supposed laws in place and do not reside there. Do you get out of your car before you enter the shire and take all the mods off, drive through, and then put them all back on once you are through? I think this is a matter of people either misinterpreting the law (which is likely) or they are having a laugh and trying to get a reaction out of people by posting this info. I fail to see the validity of such laws and as all have said this will create a back log in the Courts and prosecutions. If you comply with the regulations as advised by Qld Transport you should be fine. Of course I could be wrong but I would bet my skyline that I am not.
  5. hey all, Quick and probably silly question but I will ask anyway. I have just bought some new coilovers - G4 from just Jap with spring rates of 7 and 5. This is my 1st set of coilovers and before I purchased them I was under the impression that coilovers virtually eliminated body roll. I must admit that the handling feels better but it is nothing like I thought it would be. There is still a large amount of body roll and the tail end doesn't seem to 'swing' around to meet the front like I thought it would. Have I been totally deluded to think coilovers would 1. remove body roll and 2. make the tail more 'trigger happy' or have I chosen the wrong spring rates. Secondly, if this is how they are supposed to be should I invest in a rear strut brace or something else to assist the removal of the rolol??? Thanks for the help. Clakka
  6. I used some metal polish, brought my strut brace to a reflective shine and cleaned all the gunge out of the engine bay that nothing else would...The stuff is gold.
  7. Yes some lawyers are dodgy but not all and sometimes not engaging a lawyer can be a bad thing in the eyes of the Court. But congrats on the victory but I'd be aware that your car is probably on the "target car" list that the police have.

  10. Not sure but I think it may be the do-luck bumper - the 1st on that is
  11. Mate I will be in depending on the quality and price once made...Silly question but how do you attach them??? Is it a matter of screwing the panels on and then glassing over the holes? And what about the doors same process???
  12. From what I hear they will fit but are about an inch too short on either side so the tags need to be bent etc.
  13. Will put some pics up soon - got a new computer and haven't copied my photos over yet
  14. I went to the local paint shop and got the paint colour matched and put in spray cans...used about 8 full cans (could have been 6 but was 1st time spraying anything substantial so had a few stuff ups). They painted my front and rear bars and my side skirts and only cost like $120 and turned out tops and will last till the whole car gets sprayed... If you have a day free and want to try something new I would recommend it...if it looks bad you have only wasted like $30 so no real issue and a bad paintt job in the right colour looks better than grey primer anyday.
  15. I thought it was fast cold as it cools the car very quickly...6 of 1 half a dozen of the other i guess
  16. Post pics up here mate...am keen if you willing to ship to Brisbane COD
  17. mine did the same thing...installed a second relay switch to 'trick' the alarm to think the car is turned off when it is actually still running...works a treat now
  18. Mate can you get the cobalt water temp guages??? I need one of them and a voltmetre or even a D-PIC if you can let me know the prices please.
