i know this is a little off topic but when i was 17 i learnt to drive in a friends hq 1 tonna, it had a 454ls6 640hp/470 or something kw. strange how you can drive something like that but not tow a trailor honestly i really think if you trained young drivers so they could handle their sport cars more they would all go out and think they are even more invinsable and cause more carnage showing them real wrecks of cars and the people that cant put 3 words together might have a different effect though

nah they pics dont do it justice at all, the dents look small where is in real life they are f**ken nasty. i dont know the full extend of it but every panels is ruined the roof is f**ked, doors barely open/close apart from that the engine works and the interior is ok

oh well, f**k it whats done is done. my gf is used to driving a 94 commo, rear wheel driver and alot of power. i got no idea what went wrong maybe she just reved it too hard she has spoken to her parents and they have agreed to lend her $10,000 once she has a job later this year/early next. i got to make some f**ked up chioces but one thing i know is i will keep the car and sell parts off bit by bit. here is a start: 96 R33 series 2 non turbo dash console seats motor and other little stuff interior door skin/electric window regulator thing 2 skyline floor mats rear boot and spoiler interior of boot (plastic crap) that electronic thing next to the battery? crappy standard front and rear sanyo speakers air bags didnt go off/airbag steering wheel a few 4 stud wheels/space saver in boot front lights/fog lights/idicators rear lights and indicators i dont know how much these parts are worth so just send me a message of what you want and il ask people in here how much the part is worth? thanks for all your help guys.

well said medium, i just stacked my car i worked my ass off for 2 years to save up for it (at least i didnt get it handed to me on a silver plate by my momma, hot damn!). i didnt know the insurance was going to be so much so it took me too long to get it, car is scrap metal now and i have nothing time to do the same thing again. there should be citizens arrest so you can take things into your own hands to a degree, kids are f**ked up these days and i hate to say it but when i was young older people said the same about my teenage generation, now im saying it about the kids. f**k im a 22 year old old fart time to watch golf

i dont know much about panel beating or replacment of panels is anyone on here a panel beater or could anyone recommend me to a panel beater in melbourne. il post some more pics of the car, like i said im no expert but seriously the car is pretty f**ked i payed $12,000 for it in may so if 7-9 grand coverd the work i might consider just so i could sell it and then get something else. im guessing it would need to be panel beated, and a respray also the windscreen replaced and suspension is f**ked, also 2 tyres are gone, oh shit now that i think about it.....im screwd its gone

yar i think it might be similar, i pulled out my stereo today from my r33 try taking out the ashtray and looking for a screw, after you have done that the gear surround comes out and you undo 2 or 4 more screws near the headdeck the dash comes loose with a bit aof a nudge and hey presto. yeah man seriously that wing is cacti, i would remove it asap for a more refined look........apart from that f**ken nice car man! enjoy

my next question i guess is, how much an an rb25de worth with gearbox and loom, it had done under 100,000 the only things i would be able to get from it would be...maybe wheels, but they are shit 2 tyres are blown/4stud, front and rear lights, seats and dash, also the boot/spolier is fine i really need to know because im just waiting for the guy at the wrecking yard to go "il give ya $1000 for it" and in my current financial position im kind of f**ked on

iv only had my car for a short time (almost 3 months) and i was about to get it insured with just cars,......the 3,000+ they quoted me was alot for me so i had to save up, and i was $600 short. accident happend in melbourne 2 nights ago comming onto the eastern freeway at about 8:30pm we were going about 30kmph around the down ramp and my gf was driving, the roads were wet and it was really busy. she put her foot down not that hard to get to 100 k's when were were on the straight, next thing you know the back end slide out and we were heading toward the side/hill sideways, car hit the hill while it was sliding and it flipped twice. we are both okay but im a shatterd mess i will post some pics when i find my camera i went to the salvage place today and got my stereo and air filter that i had just put on not even a week before. and before you all start saying servs you right for not getting insurance, well yeah i guess it does but then again i wasnt driving the car anyway so it wouldnt have been coverd in my gf's name. faaaaaaarrk, now im out of work cant pay rent and so on, fffffffffffffffaaaaaaarrrkkk here is a pic i took of my car earlier that day...il do the before and after thing

hehehe im also in melbourne (eastern subs) and am going to get an alarm this week. i was looking in the trading post and seen some adds "insurance approved mobile installation central locking boot release black wiring 2 point imob. bla bla bla $199" they cant be that bad could they? they all seem to be around that much apart from the ones that are like $300-500 they got a 3km range on the pagers and some other features like remote start which would be a car jackers dream to find

you could take out the back seat if you really wanted too and use it as a 2 seater? your biggest problem from other peoples accounts is your spoiler and windows rattling i have a white 96 s2 with the same spolier and aparently it rattles like all f**k with 1 10inch so with 2 12, ouch! you can fill in the spoiler with bog or something and it helps alot have you got a good set of splits and 6.5 or 6x9's in rear with a decent 4 channel amp? if not, start there and worry about subs later.

i took my double din out 5 days ago on my r33 s2 unbolt the console near where your seat belt clips in and then undo about 10 other screws holding the brackets. everything seems to come out easy putting it back can be a little tricky especialy if you drop a screw, Doh!
