Valet switch is much like a valet key... it won't let people enter the glovebox or boot. So when a valet parks your car, they can start it, drive it, but not swipe anything in your boot and glovebox. (prolly not applicable for Skylines... no lock on the glovebox) since when does a skyline not have a lock on the glovebox, mine does?r33 96 na HMmmmm maybe its an aftermarket lock hehe

spose it depends on how much you got to spend too! r33's are great for modding and a hell of alot cheaper then an s15 if you spent the money on the r33 that you would have saved from getting an s15 you would be able to rip 99% of cars on the road however r33's are older? meh hard choice i guess. have you looked into rx7's supras and so on? if you dont have much money try going for an old school silvia they are really cheap and arnt bad with performance.

i remember when the first shots of this new holden were released someone on here said "dont knock it till you actualy see it in real life because it looks pretty hot" well to whoever that person is, THEY ARE EVEN WORSE IN REAL LIFE, worst sedan i have seen come out of holden in along time ..........i dunno if its just me but for 1 billion dallars i think they should have come up with something a little more original. cant wait for the new fords

i hate sony headecks even if they have a slight power advantage THEY ARE SOOOOO UGLY!! sound aint bad but yuk!. not a fan of alpine because just about every alpine unit looks the same plus my old alpine headunit didnt have a very long life despite its $800 price tag.

il try not to drain on but yeah r33's especialy series 1 are getting old its a shame nissan didnt make an r35 to continue the legend. however most still would rip a new wrx or heavy v8 super tank and they still manage to turn heads to the legions of fans young and old even if stock. btw isnt a house deposit 10%??..... 25,000 sounds more realistic? however i could be wrong as i am not yet in the market for a house. for what its worth i drive a 96 r33 series 2 auto na (no im not a girl) i got it 4 months ago and payed $11,000 it has 94,000k's and got itfrom a car yard its in almost perfect condition apart from the a stone chip or 2 turbo manual s2's were going for 13,500+

i think there is a d.i.y that shows you how to completely pull out the parcel shelf and replace it with mdf, the guy did a good job on it too but there is alot of f**king around involved. as for speaker brands....MMMMMMmmmm soundstream/mb quart make some good stuff

i thought id better ask what usualy wears out on skylines and what would need replacing from your experiances? i have a stock non turbo 96 r33 it was imported around the start of the year and since then i havent had it serviced so it might be a good idea. its done just over 100,000kms. ...i think the shocks need replacing as going over a speed bump at 15km/h makes a strange noise and it rocks like a see-sore, no idea about engine parts. any info would be great. parts/price :domokun: f**k that icon is cool

i think they look shit too, i seen them for sale on ebay and they look like super rice to me. the stock rear lights look great i think the only differences in series 2 are: more agressive bonnet body kit with foggies color coded front grill front lights/better reflectors/slimmer larger spoiler not that ugly thin one that sits just over the bonnet fabric type on the seats indented line on either side of the roof. ........ im not sure about those last 2 things.

i have a graze across front left side of bumper f**k there are so many kinds of white for touch up paint i almost fell over i have an r33 s2 and yes ITS IS WHITE! QM1 or QMI is the paint code and aparently its just "white" just wondering has anyone used touch up paint before. i dont just want to spray it on if its not going to match i got no idea what to do. the mark is about 10 cm by 1 cm at the widest point, how much would it cost to get it done by the pros? all ideas welcome
