Spotted the Hornsby crew, Coasties and Newie guys all lined up in the B/Bay carpark being filmed - damn, we looked awesome!!! ha ha ha!!! Can't wait to see that footage and would have loved to of seen the popo's face when we all lined up..... There must have been about 30-40 cars???

Hey there Newie guys!!! It was great to meet you all and go for a bit of a cruise - even if it was a bit all over the place!!! Anytime you wanna do it again let us know, you guys can come and hang with us anytime you want! (even on a thursday night for our meet or whatever!) Hope to catch up with you all again soon! PS - besides the guys who got the once over from the boys in blue - the rest of it was a bit of a laugh! None of us seemed to know they were there when we all lined up in the carpark!!! That's gonna look so awesome on that video! Shame there was speed humps or we all could have had a little sprint!!!

Hi Guys! For anyone interested..... coasties are meeting at west gossy maca's on sunday morning at 10am - leave by 10.15 and will take the "long and scenic" route to Bateau Bay! By our calculations there will be approx 15? cars heading out to meet the Newie guys so should be a good day... See ya's all then!

Newie crew is meeting at Speers Point, Coasties will prolly meet at west gossy macca's and go on a bit of a "mini cruise" and take the long way out to B/Bay but haven't spoken to everyone yet... will make definate plans at our meet Thursday night and pm you with details. PS - are you the guy with the red 31 I met at TM autosports back in about July - my 33 was on the dyno and then I saw you there again with your car on the dyno when I picked mine up with a new clutch??? How about either a small sticker for the quarter window or a card you can put on the dash with SAU logo and your ID/avatar pic on it? When your out cruisin or parked you can display your card with your ID and peeps will know/recognise who you are on the site and can put names/cars/avatars/id's together. Sometimes you talk to people on the site for ages and only know them by thier ID, it would help people get to know each other at show n shine or cruises etc. If it was a display card you could keep it in the glove box and display it whenever you wanted, a sticker is more permanent so maybe not as good an idea. It would only have to be credit card size or a bit bigger.....

The more the merrier!!! We have a couple of odd socks in our lot - there should be an S15 and a Subi with us. BTW - where abouts are you leaving from and what time??? Is it the foreshore up the rd from the brewery? Some of us were thinking of driving up the drive back with you!? Dunno!

JUST AN IDEA GUYS.......... If you want to drive down to the carpark at Bateau Bay then have some lunch from any of the places over the road there (macca's, red rooter - whateva!) then go somewhere for pics, there is Crackneck Lookout at Bateau Bay - will accomodate approx 40-50 cars and has either bush or ocean backdrop OR there's the carpark under Brian McGowan Bridge in Gosford which is on the water (same again, plenty of room) OR The Entrance (prolly a bit busy there???) OR the carpark along the waterfront down Pt Clare/Tascott way OR the Rotary Club carpark at Toukley beside the bridge.......... There should be a few of us coasties tagging along who know where all these places are and can lead the way..... The defect station has been moved from Terrigal now but it's pretty busy out there w/ends (especially now the weather is warming up) and parking is a nightmare at the best of times let alone when there's a big group.

I'm insured with VIGIL (98 R33 GTS-T with lots of mods) - I get 24/7 road side assistance, am covered on track days and got an agreed value. Premium was $1200 with full NCB and excess is only $500 and I pay by the month with no penalties. My other half is insured with TORQUE (97 R33 GTS-T with mods) - his is insured for business use coz he uses it for work, no road side assistance and not covered on track but premium was around the same, $1200 with full NCB (one prev acco and a couple of tickets in the past) Excess is $600 and he also has agreed value. Neither of us has had to make a claim to date (touch wood!) so can't vouch for them there yet but pretty happy with the premiums and excesses. We are both 30yrs+. For the younger crowd - I've heard of a company called "young and fun" or similar... mixed reports tho, some people say they're crap but others have said they're great - can't comment myself but worth the call to find out I 'spose. Hope this helps!
