if i am off to macleod, id be prepared to change everything over back to stock, wouldnt be that much of a bitch would it? would my car still be drivable if i swapped my 555cc injectors with the stocker? tune is under 200rwkw so stock injectors are still capable. just need to know if itll work.

awesome awesome! as i have a dr. drift remap, hiflow and a spare stock muffler (read 84dB), i should be able to pass if i take out my bleed valve and pod. would they check injector flow? as i have nismo 555cc and dont have the stock ones anymore

hey, i was canaried a few days ago for a few things, such as ride height, unroadworthy tyres, parker bulbs blown, pod filter and loose front bar. now im not bitching in any shape, way or form because i knew i had this coming. all i wanted to know was that the officer said something about EPA. does this mean that i will be sent to EPA to check if my defects have really been cleared (due to dodgy rwc's) or that they will do a FULL inspection of the car in general? such as ALL modifications on the car. any feed back would be awesome, especially those who have been in the same position. cheers, Miguel

never seen mine come on because as soon as i hit the last quarter line, my car starts to jump and hop around when taking off due to the fuel pump working at 100%. shits me sometimes.

18, turning 19 in April

my stockie has been cut and welded a 3" flange to suit the rest of system which goes down to a 3" at the flanges. pretty much a bolt-on bolt-off job and yeh it fit the original mounting brackets.

i just got rid of my epa last week. all you need is to replace your hks muffler with the stock one. i run a 3" turbo back - 3" hiflow cat - 3.5" cat back - 4.5" cannon. took out the cannon, use my stockie and read 84db.

I also recieved an epa notice the other week for my exhaust. I was told by a tuner that if you buy about 10 metres of steel wool and jam down the exhaust, u'd surely pass. Then after that, just fang it on boost and inevitably, the steel wool should shoot out the back. I'd have to do this for the fact that i have an ECV welded where the diff sits, thus not being able to change exhaust systems easily. Has anyone tried this trick?

actually havent tried blocking the map sensor hose! But yes, the map on the ecu has been suited to the z32. It was just pissing out black smoke and basically fouled my plugs. *Edit: just checked with Sam, and yes he did block the hose. We think it may be the actually wires that connect the ecu to the afm as we've tried changing both sides and still the computer keeps receiving an error message.
