  3. Thanks dude...unfortunately since I brought her over I've had no end of problems...people hit n running her, breaking in, etc...so she's got a bit of damage on her which is my next move after she's back on the road...atm she may not look much but she turns heads when she launches...
  4. I'll try n get my rego sorted by then...although I'll need to do a road trip 1st as my engine's only done 120 miles!!!! not good to chuck her straihgt on the track without running her in 1st
  5. nope, 6 months...because the work done on mine couldn't be used on any other car in aus so it's not worth them making the effort
  6. Yup, uk style...basic difference between vauxhall astra gsi's n holden ones is : 3 doors instead of 5 comes standard with the calibra 2l engine (non-ecotec) bodykit (inc vents) and a few other trimmings...
  7. I've been busy...long story, will explain l8r but finally got GSI back last month after a 9k rebuild...just sorting finances out and she'll be rego'd shortly...although she's made a few trips on the road so far n still undefeated
  8. Vauxhall Astra GSi, yeah, UK import...just got her back after a major overhaul...brand new block, flowed n ported heads and lightened... rest of the details are at http://www.mysfit.com/andy.html
  9. Really...well this GSI beat ya before and will again mate She's pumping an extra 50bhp at the fronts since last time
  10. Not all GM cars are slow
  11. I wasn't with whiteline's lack of response to me, they told me to wait 6 months before they could touch my car...gits...just coz it wasn't a skyline...
  12. button clutches are a bitch in traffic!!!! They won't slip but they don't necessarilly mean they'll be lighter...infact they're usually worse than a heavy duty...
  13. I've got Falken Azenisn on my front, they are unreal for grip...they're the only thing I've found so far that will come close to giving me traction...cost me $250 per corner for 17's...
  14. I've had problems with optimax twice now...I've found it more to do with the actual petrol station than the optimax itself... The shell on para rd, just past stanmore maccas is the worst! Do not buy from there...I know plenty of people that have had bad fuel from there...I've had to have my system completely flushed and my injectors ultrasonically cleaned coz of them!
  15. Suspension does play a good part but then so does driver ability... I keep forgetting about suspension as I take my setup for granted after 3 years of having it...
  16. Never been there
  17. what tyres you running? that can make a big difference....
  18. It's not a good weekend for GTS's....3 damaged in 3 days! At least GSI's safely in the garage away from temptation... Good luck to all those that have been victemised by crap drivers!
