  1. mines got a strip of velcro that goes right around it holding it to the metal brackets. easier than tape and you dont need new tape if you ever need to move it around.
  2. i think airbags where an option on series 1, mines got drivers side airbag and its a 94, my old 95 model didnt.
  3. the 33 might only be a bit faster than the 32 flat out, but drive them in traffic and see which one you find to have more power accross the board.
  4. well i dont know about everyone else here but my car made 215kw with a 2530 15psi stock manifold. the exhaust on it is 3inch off the turbo and the dump pipe is seperate to the front pipe on this system. the standard manifold is low mount meaning the turbo is mounted low down on the car and high mounts are mounted up high belive it or not
  5. maybe a 400r. id keep the stock one, but im weird and think series 1 looks better than 2.
  6. clearly 33's are the best, nice smooth lines, so hot i might go outside and feel sorry for all you ppl that bought 32's and 34's. i dont mind the others from the front but the arse end of them just dosent work for me. the 32 from behind looks old as and the 34 looks like a box. still if i could afford it i would of bought a 34, or maybe a 33 gtr or an e36 m3 or a series 6+ rx7.
  7. used a drill to cut out a hole to put the cooler piping through, this left sharp edges so i wraped an old sock around the pipe so it wouldnt rub on the sharp metal.

  9. i wouldnt run 15psi on a standard turbo either. but whats making me think maybe thats whats happening is the more restrictive the air filter is the more kock im getting, and i saw in the pod vs airbox thread that with the airbox being more restrictive it was sucking the pipe closed.

  11. fiddlying around with the thing today, and i took it out with no air filter at all on it and knock was basically gone, only went to around 20. then i put my old pod on which is less restrictive and i had heaps less knock than with the apexi one ive got. is it possible that the rubber tube running from the afm to the turbo is sucking shut, more so when i have a more restrictive intake? would this cause more kock?

  14. yeh i got it but its goin into my car cause i got hole from the previous owner's boost guage on it.
  15. i just went down to the local spares shop and bought a brass barb that had a thread on it and fit the hose over it. $2 or something.
  16. i wouldnt run aything less than 95 ron in it, just because it isnt turbo dosent mean you can run it on shit. i had an old bmw that needed at least 95 ron or it would ping its ass off.
  17. nice! no more bleed valve for me. only get knock that high if im basically flat to the floor, and it wasnt doing that untill last week some time.
