  1. Hey all I have a gt35r kit for sale $2500.00 U.S. plus shipping. Kit includes: 1) Gt35r ball bearing internal gate 14psi actuator .63 rear. 2) Brand new jecs high flowed 550cc injectors. 3) P.I.T bcu electronic boost controller with built in turbo timer and everything needed for install. 4) Low mount turbo manifold with spacers. 5) Front/Dump pipe heat wrapped. Everything is in perfect working order, turbo has about 7000km on it only boosted to 18psi. No shaft play at all.
  2. Thanks everybody for the quick replies, as always as informative as ever.
  3. It was an add I saw on ebay. Private seller. The pics of the turbo have garret stamped on the comp housing, just thought it was real and would be able to get me to 300rwkw. I have some pics of it attached below.
  4. No model name just a garret turbo with those specs. That's why I put it on the forum to see if any knew if that turbo would support at least 300rwkw.
  5. Hey forum thinking of getting a garret turbo with these specs: Turbine: exducer diameter-stage2, inducer diameter-stage2, trim-t4, divided housing and a/r .84 Compressor: exducer diameter-70mm, inducer diameter- 44mm, trim-58 and a/r .50. What rwkw range should I expect with that type of turbo on an rb25det? Will be running at least 20psi of boost through the turbo. Engine is built with a stock head with aftermarket ecu, upgraded injectors and fuel pump.
  6. Hey guys have a .63/ar internally gated turbine housing to suit a gt35r up for grabs 5000km new. Comes with 14 psi internal wastegate, dump/front pipe and low mounted turbo manifold for rb25det. Price: $450.00 Or willing to trade for a vband t4 spit pulse turbine housing to suit gt35r.
  7. Damn that's what I was afraid of, thought it was a straight fit. What does profiling the housing cost and what do you call not responsive? Give me boost vs rpm. What would you suggest will be the most responsive split pulse housing to support around 350rwkw on a 25 with a gt35r? Yea I have a .63 internally gated 5 bolt, really wanting something t4 split pulse to suit turbo. Know of anybody.
  8. Does anybody know if the housing mentioned will bolt to a gt35r? The information I found on it is: Part Number Description Model 410401-0036 TURBINE HSG DIV 1.00 "76" T04B If no is there anything I can do to make it fit?
  9. Hey forum what's up? I need a little help from you guys as I can't figure this out. I have a turbine housing that I got for cheap to put on my 35r. It is a genuine garrett housing or at least that is what I was told. It has a 1.00ar and I thought 35r housings only came in .63, .82 or 1.06 that is what made me came here to find out about it. It came in a garrett box and has the same numbers off the box on the turbo as well. The numbers are 410401-0036. I wanted to know if this will fit my turbo before I go through the trouble of taking it off and trying to put it on.
  10. Hmmm so where would the .6 get you? Would you still have the top end capability of a 35r with a somewhat quicker spool time? Or would the effect be negligible? Would it still make more power than a 3076r of the same specs?
  11. Hey forum just a general knowledge question here. I used the search function, but found no topics on the subject. I just would like to know what effect what a machined 3076r comp housing have on a gt35r? Faster spool, slower spool, same spool, less horsepower at same boost or same horsepower at same boost?
  12. Hey forum I am once again calling on your expertise to help me out. I have someone ready to sell me an exhaust turbine ut I need to know if it will fit a 35r and what size it is. this is the descriptuion of it. This is a turbine housing, just the housing, not the whole turbine. The part number of the housing is 3527122. According to the Holset distributor this works with 22 of their turbines, many used on marine engines and engines in fixed positions like generators. All of these turbines are used on C series engines. In particular this fits the turbine 3527107 which is used on the Dodge Cummins 6CTA from 1988 up. In answer to a question: This will fit directly a Cummins 5.9 in a pickup application up to 1993. For later models it requires an adapter available from Holset. for the exhaust manifold flange. In answer to another question: The mounting hole on the side with the Holset stamp has an inner diameter of 3 1/4" and an outside diameter of 4". On Sep-05-10 at 20:36:38 PDT, seller added the following information: In answer to questions: The diameter of the large hole at the center of the 4 threaded holes is 3 1/4". That is all the information that he has on the exhaust. Do you think it will fit a 35r and what exhaust a/r is it?
  13. So the .82 a/r t4 flanged would be the best suited for my application?
  14. Ohh ok I thought t4 would allow for more efficient exhaust gas flow. I would have to change the manifold so just wanted the best for my application.
  15. What flange type t3 or t4? Lithium said t4 1.06. I am looking for about the same spool maybe better if it can happen and about 350-380rwkw.
  16. I have a .63a/r hot side. Power level I can't really say. Just had it road tuned. So from what you are saying my spool is to laggy for a gt35r .63a/r?
  17. Hey there just want a definitive answers from people who have tried and what there suggestion is and why. I have re posted to ask a quick question, I already have a 35r and was wondering to get 350-380rwkw what would you guys go with t3 or t4 split pulse and what back housing .82 or 1.06? Right now I am on full boost by 4200-4500 which is laggy to me, use to running with a stock turbo, and would like for it to either remain there or make boost sooner. Just do not want it to be laggier. So what combo would you guys suggest?
  18. Hey everyone thanks for the quick responses, they were timely. Can arp rb25 rods bolts fit the rb26 rods?
  19. Hello forum just a quick question I wanted to know the answer to. I have checked with the search function and found some topics, but none with a definitive answer. So I decided to just ask. When using rb26 rods in an rb25 is it neccessary to change the rod bolts or are the standard rb26 rod bolts fine to 8000rpm with a power goal of 350-400rwkw the most?
  20. With a split pulse does it need to be t4 flanged or will a t3 do as well? What size turbine housing split pulse would you use on a rb25det, with a gt35r?
  21. I know it will work, but I mean as efficiently as a split. No I didn't buy one I was just looking into it and didn't agree with somethings he was trying to tell me, so I came here for more opinions and direction. Thanks man this forum is the best.
  22. Exactly!!!! I told the seller the exact same thing that it would not work and I heard about manifolds like this cracking all the time. He assured me it wasn't so and that this would work on a split one.
