  1. Now here is the other part to the question. The nismo ones flow basically 540 at 90% duty cycle at 43.5psi while the jecs flow 570 at the same duty cycle and psi. Which set of injectors should I stay with? I was thinking the jecs cause they offer more flow at the same psi, which I figured will be more room for tuning and safety. What do you guys think? Running an aftermarket regulator to answer the question.
  2. Hey forum just wanted to get an injector question answered. I have a choice between two sets of injectors both have the same flow rate one has the four hole spray pattern(nismo), and the other has the single hole spray pattern(jecs). What I want to know from you guys is which spray pattern would be considered the better one to have, Four hole style or the single hole one?
  3. Wow seriously nobody on this site has done this or knows how to? That is truly unbelievable.
  4. Wow I refuse to believe that noby on this forum has wired a q45 throttle body to a rb25det series 2 engine.
  5. So there is nobody out there that can help?
  6. Exactly, I have that diagram all I want to know is what to do with the wires that are circled. Come on someone has to know.
  7. Ok do you see the picture in the link you sent. That grey wire I have wired up already, that part is fine. It is just that little black box that is on the side of the throttle body, I want to know what to do with the wires that come from there. That part I do not get is, the tutorial says to integrate the stock wires into the vq45 plug(with a pic of that black box above it). How do I do that? Can someone just say were to connect the wires of the plug that will be coming from the little black box. The grey plug is all wired up and everything is good with that. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Q45-T-b-t118484.html That is the link to the tutorial I followed, just need to know what to do with the wires that come from the black sensor.
  8. Wow you totally lost me. Let me tell you what I did. So far I have spliced the grey plug off the q45 to the brown plug off the series 2 rb25. Now I need to know what to do with the plug that comes off the black sensor of the q45.
  9. Hey forum!!! As topic states I need a little help wiring the q45 throttle body to a series 2 rb25det. I already have the grey plug wired to the rb25 tps plug, but I am stumped as what to do with the wires that go to the black box on the side of the throttle body. A tutorial said to integrate into wiring but doesn't state how to. Can someone please explain to me what to do with the three wires that come out of that black sensor? Thanks.
  10. Ok thanks mate. Wow that was a super fast reply too. Great stuff.
  11. Hey forum what's up? If I didn't say it before Happy New Year to all! Now down to business, I need to know if the injectors out of an 89 300zx will swap directly into an rb25det. Someone wants to sell me a set but, I am not sure if they will drop right in. I am thinking no but, I just need confirmation as I am unsure. Thanks for your help in advance.
  12. Ok so a series 2 rb25det manual ecu will work with a series 2 engine harness. Not talking bout auto ecu an harness, talking bout auto harness with manual ecu.
  13. So nobody knows if you can use an automatic engine harness in a manual car?
  14. So nobody knows if you can use an automatic engine harness in a manual car?
  15. Hey forum as topic states please forgive my double post but it is imperative that I get this info quickly, I have a deal on an engine harness. Just want to know if I can use an automatic series 2 engine harness with a manual series 2 ecu?
  16. Hey there forum as topic states I want to know if I have an engine harness from an automatic rb25det, will it be able to work with a manual transmission? NOT the ecu have the right ecu for the car just not the engine harness. So will an automatic engine harness be able to work with a manual ecu?
  17. Does anyone know this guy? I bought this kit from him about a month ago, took awhile to take it down to ship, but said he shipped it on the 13th of September and during this whole time I must have heard from him maybe four times. always promising to send pics and tracking info, but never did. Now from since he said it was shipped I haven't heard a peep one word from him and it is going on two weeks now.
  18. Ok answering all the questions I could remember, yes I am sure it is smoke and not condensation doesn't go away after awhile, I do have a wideband O2 sensor and it reads high 13's to high 14's at idle and the oil was on both the compressor and turbine side very very thick, I only installed the catch can after the problem and so far no oil. Had the intake piping and cooler off and there was a lot of oil in the cooler and piping I cleaned that out already. Didn't clean out the dump/front pipe before reinstalling after the change of turbo and as said at idle no ac no revving smoke is barley noticeable, with revving it is more noticeable and with ac on no revving there is bellows of white smoke. Also my heater core was leaking coolant in the car as well also have that bypassed and fixed, just thought I would ad that in as something else that happened when I suspected that the turbo blew. Will try to get a vid up of what I am talking bout. By internal baffle for the catch can do you mean stuffing it with the metal scrubbing pads in a stockings? If so then no I have not done that as I thought since it is venting to atmo I would not really need it. I am just dumbfounded to the results I got basically no oil anywhere but when ac on it plumes out of the exhaust. Any other suggestions as i am all out of ideas? Just want to kno for sure what is happening to my car before I go spend money on items I do not need.
  19. Hey forum will try to keep this as short as possible. Have a 95 r33 gtst series 2 with stock turbo on it. turbo was on 14psi could have spiked to more and now I have white smoke out exhaust. Motor has forged pistons and triple layer metal head gasket 1.3mm. Thought it was turbo so replaced that and in replacing it saw loads of oil around the old turbo's turbine. Did a compression test got 140 135 140 140 140 135 1 thro 6 respectively. No oil in the coolant, no coolant in the oil, no bubbles in the radiator and no oil in the catch can I hooked up. Have the catch can hooked up venting to atmo. Whats strange to me is on idle there is some smoke but not much as I rev it there is more smoke and bellows of smoke when I idle with ac on and no revving, with ac off there is some smoke but not as much as with it on. I am lost as I have no really negative test results but all the smoke to show signs of a blown motor. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank You. Noew I know there should be oil in the dump/front pipe as it was evident when I took the turbo off so that has to burn off but why the bellows of smoke only when I turn the ac on?
  20. Hi all wht's up? Just wanted to know how bad a 42 error code is , it's the fuel temp sensor error code, and what to do in order to correct it or if I even have to as I don't see a reference to this error code anywhere on any site.
  21. So nobody knows? Someone has to at least have an idea.
  22. Hey there forum as topic states, I would like to know if the lifters from an rb25de engine can be used in an rb25det engine?
  23. Hey forum I am having an issue with my car overheating and was wondering if anyone can give theories why. I never had heating issues with my normal radiator with clutch fan, but I took it out to install an aluminum dual core I got on a deal. Now the car overheats during normal driving in the daytime. It overheats to the point where hot water bubbles out of the overflow bottle and the stock temp gauge is right below the mark before the H on the gauge.. I have driven it extremely hard in the night time and it didn't overheat, or I just have not driven it long enough, but I think I did as it was driven hard. It just seems to overheat in the daytime under normal driving conditions. I have a 16" electric fan attached to the radiator for cooling without shroud. Can anyone give suggestions as to why it is overheating now with a bigger radiator installed?
