Me too - which is why I bought my r32 5 months ago already moded (moderately) for 13k and i am so happy! my first car was from a car yard but i think private is the way to go. just get someone who knows about cars (imports) (assuming you dont) to go with you when you check them out. you save heaps when you buy private ps - search trading post maybe too (they have private and car yard cars) (www.autotrader.com.au)

haha - jezza323 actually took that! i was doing 63s and 62s (the laps where i didn't get traffic and didn't spin out) best was a 62.47

nevermind!!! i got it open! you guys can stop worrying (not that it looked like anyone cared anyway!!! ) Breaking into a R32 GTST in 3 easy steps undo these two bolts: open botton a little and prop up: undo latch with finger (and here we can see the problem):

Hey guys! have a little issue my bonnet popper cable seems to have snapped think the previous owner must have done something to it because it (maybe during gearbox replacement or other work) as it has always been really hard to open. anway it doesn't open anymore atall now! has anyone ever had to open a bonnet manually? i can take the front bar off and get car on ramps (planning to do that tonight and have a look see ) any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!! (need to get bonnet open before saturdays dyno day!!) -Zennon

omg sorry guys forgot i started this thread yeah SAS = saturday arvo sprints lots of fun yes u need a AASA licence... i was in the fast group with a few other skylines, pete's 500+hp 300zx, 3 EVO's and 3 Porche GT3s ran a PB of 62.47 ill post some pics tomorrow

i live in the redlands too! yeah i had an interesting day yesterday.... on my way to queensland raceway i got cut off by a rav4 and then HE gave ME the finger - i was the bigger man (even though i was like half his age) and didn't do anything. and then last night on my way to birkdale from capalaba - two of those turbo pulsars (GTiR?) and a supra came SPEEEDING by! they were sooo coool man

im gonna sound like a total bogan but i like the sound of V8's... dad had a small block chevvy in our Ford Sierra in south africa and it sounded wicked (the sierra had NOS first but that blew the engine - lol)
