  1. does it come with instructions for fitting to a 32 gtr?
  2. when i bought my 32 gtr i was only going to use it for weekends and for the occasional thrashing for a bit of fun, but since then it has become a daily driver. once you get past the fact that its and older car and you need to make sure that you are on top of it when it comes to servicing etc they are built tough and will handle a bit of punnishment. parts are not so hard to find as they seem to be becoming fairly popular again, and with so many p platers still wet behind the ears buying them (well in my area anyway) and smashing them means more parts for us!! not the sort of car you would want to drive fo 40min in stop start trafic everyday though.
  3. ITS ALWAYS LOUD HERE!!
  4. AS AN ENTRANT FOR THE UNLIMITED RUN IN 2007 I CAN SAY THAT I THINK THE PRICE OF $1850 IS RESONABLE FOR AN EVENT THAT IS HELD OVER 4 DAYS. ALTHOUGH THIS EVENT IS NOT AS BIG AS THE GUMBALL 3000 OR THE CANNONBALL RUN, IT STILL LOOKS LIKE A HELL OF A LOT OF FUN AND FROM TALKING TO THE ORGANIZERS OF THIS EVENT AND SOME OF THE PREVIOUS ENTRANTS, IT WILL NOT BE LONG BEFORE THIS EVENT IS ON THE FORE FRONT OF EVENTS LIKE THIS. THESE GUYS HAVE SOME MAJOR PLANS FOR THIS EVENT INCLUDING A 3 STATE RUN IN THE NEXT YEAR OR SO. I THINK THAT THIS IS FAR BETTER VALUE THAN SPENDING £28,000 (ROUGHLY $70,000AUD) ON THE GUMBALL OR $10,000 FOR THE CANNONBALL. BOTH OF THESE EVENTS HAVE SAID BE SPENDING A GOOD PART OF THEIR TIME IN SEARING HEAT IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY. I CAN THINK OF BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN WASH RED DUST OUT OF EVERY ORIFACE OF MY CAR. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A WARM UP EVENT FOR THE CANNONBALL THEIR SITE IS scphada enterprises "the unlimited run" DROP THESE GUYS A LINE OR MAYBE EVEN USE THIS EVENT TO WORK SOME BUGS OUT FOR THE CANNONBALL LIKE WE WILL BE!
  5. can you suggest anyone in melbourne that is awsome at tuning the power fc to get the optimum out of the car?
  6. hoping someone will be able to help i have an r32 gtr that is fairly stock and a mate of mine has a similar car (r32 gtr) but he has done a lot of work on the motor with forged pistons, heads, cams, power fc, intake, turbos, cooler and bullet proof bottom end. when dynoed it made 361kw at all four on a fairly conservitive tune. MY REAL QUESTION IS does anyone know what reading the knock sensor should read on a standard rb26 as he has done a lot of work and is getting a reading of about 40 in the power fc and thats under low boost . is this a safe reading or is this some thing that he should get looked at. i understand it may be a hard question to answer but any ideas would be greatly appriciated as he is scared to drive it as he dosent want to kill it . so it just sits in his shed what a waste. any help would be great thanks
