hey guys i wanna build an engine for my r33gtst. i wanna use an rb30 block. is it better to use the rb30et block or the rb30e block? also when it comes to pistons and crank, need some advice. i wanna get forged pistons, just dont know which 1's or what the best brand out there are. and with the crank can i just use the standard rb25det crank and have it machined? i am targeting 300rwkw for daily drive and 400rwkw track weapon. what else will i need? ecu- PFC or Microtech Ltx12? cams- no idea?? turbo - not a big turbo buff by an means but will the gtrs or gt3540 do the job? injectors - which 1's would be best? fuel rail - will i need to have a custom fuel rail made or is the standard 1 gonna do it for me? fuel pump - which 1? cars current mods are in my signature. any advice and recommendations would be kindly appreciated as well as any experiences you have had with any particular brand of engine parts that you have used? cheers daniel

hey guys since there has been an increased interest in having the pre meet at Kmart in Campbellfield i think i will run 1 there. Brent will still have his at the Bell St maccas, but i will hold 1 now as well @ the Kmart. Details: Location: Kmart Campbellfield, cnr Hume Hwy and Mahoneys Rd we will be meeting in the car park under the massive campbellfield plaza sign, you wont be able to miss this crowd, as there wont be many cars in the car park, let alone other skylines. lol. if the bov opens to early under no pressure, it dumps tha air pressure and stall. by increasing the strength that is needed to open the bov, it will hole pressure and thus stop stalling.

im leaning that way too man, kmart is a good meet spot.

brent can we have a poll in this forum, i have had suggestions for other meet locations, so could you set up a poll for either bell st maccas or Kmart in campbellfield which is right next to the ring road on ramp.

or if your bov is adjustabl, tighten the bov up so it takes more pressure to open.

im gonna machine my standard shifter to shorten the throw. grind it down to a stright pole and re-thread the top so it decreases the size by about 5cm or there abouts. will post up some pics once i do it.

im thinkin about going and taking the line down for a cruise. if any1 wants to meet us there would be nice to see some other members.

we use the maccas for a pre meet only because allows people to get a bite to eat before hand and then when we leave its a straight run down bell st and onto the ring rd from bell st.

chop the bottom section off the reo. make the bar fit basically and also will allow you to further modify later when you mount a fmic

if ur getting the whole exhaust done then id say get them to fit it all.

i know your in the south of melbourne, But speak to Ray at RE Customs. hes a big help with modding cars. he'll do an awesome job too.
