  1. clean with a wire brush and then use metho to clean off any residual dust. it shoudl stick then but at the same time, if there was any trace of water in the spray can when it was manufacteured it would bead up to.
  2. hey guys i just bought a SAFCII and wanna get it installed in 2 weeks once i get my front/dump pipe and hi flo cat. just want to know where ppl recommend for me to have the SAFCII installed and tuned? also what sort of price tag i would be looking at for the install and tune? cheers daniel
  3. pm me a pic and ill take it for 300 if u can prove that it works perfect. city meet preferred but other wise il come get it from ya
  4. if u wanna re-trim it, easy as pie, using a contact adhesive in a spray, spray the liner then lay the new material on it and using some sand or dirt, put it on top of some plastic on the fabric to apply even pressure over night. next morn, remove sand, curl ends around and using a short profile staple, fasten it down or use the glue again with tape as this part isnt seen. and done. will look heaps better.
  5. u could even get a flyn dump front but its not split. IMO it would be better than both the above mentioned as the airflow never gets interupted from the turbo to the cat. and about the cat, just get teh JJR 1, it is more than sufficient and is rated i belive to 250odd RWKW. correct me i im wrong. unless you plan on more than that then lash out and spend like 400 on a cat.
  6. damn. i guess i might just do a fibreglass top section for that price. will still look the same.
  7. location? im interestd in the rear camber kit
  8. hey guys im after getting a flat boot for my r33 s1. i want the one that sits flush with the rear quarters. any1 know where i can get 1? or is there any1 that can mod the standard boot to be flush? daniel
  9. hey matt im thinkin this looks like another mini maccas meet b4 the cruise for northern burbs peeps. so far you would have me u and kylie
  10. it stays about the same as long as the drive train hasnt changed. but if a car is putting down 250rwkw, then your looking at almost 320kw at the flywheel. could be less than 320 as with 250rwkw, u would have a new clutch/pressure plate and i would assume pump would be diff too. but you could expect close to 320 at teh fly.
  11. you got some pics of it? how many k's since being hi flowed? is the dump just a dump or 1 pipe (dump front in 1). location?
  12. buy - 170 paint - 150-200 fitting - 100 enough said. with fitting screw the ends in and then provided you dont mide the skirts being permanent, use a silicon adhesive and seal the skirts on. this way they have a good solid finish. caution tho, make sure they are wanted to be permanent orelse they are a c*#t to get off
  13. dont bother. it works but its better to get it re-trimmed. you can actually tell its been srayed coz you'll never get the entire plush of the liner. the only other thing you can do is get a die and wash the liner in a die to change its colour.
  14. from a personal note, i work in the aircraft industry so i got access to some of the best resins and repair materials that are out there. but like plynx said any good resin will do the job, see the guys at FGI and get them to mail you out a small container and catalyst. like $30 for a small job like your talking.
  15. there is one tow bar setup for sale in that section. get him to send you pics. they are like 600 for skys
  16. grille sold to me. woot
  17. the marks are all cleaned up, just gotta take it to this guy i know and get him to pop the dent out. wasnt any paint damage on mine other than a small paint chip on my pod.
  18. mate use a 10" if u wanna save space in the boot. all i did was relocate the battery and then bolt the hicas ecu and fuse box to my sub box side. works real well and still got heaps of space. battery went in the side of the boot, opposite area to where the jack goes
  19. add me to the list. ill be there as long as it is not raining. lol. (not doing another sorrento cruise issue)
  20. pm sent regarding grill
  21. still looking
  22. wat kind of turbo is it?
  23. um not 100% sure of places that would be reliable enough to do a clear carbon repair, they are very much butchers most places. i work in the aircraft industry so we have to be more precise. if u plan to spray, any panel beater can do it. but otherwise um.... try looking in teh yellow pages. really dont know man.
