  1. think about it this way metal fibreglass both have a degree of "flex" in them body filler doesnt your chassis willl flex then the panels will follow but the filler wont it will crack. ive seen it on so many cars bumper bars and side skirts are different because they arent moulded to any fixed part of the car

  4. those end caps arent moulded to the body they are just screwed into place when i was saying dont use fibreglass i meant dont mould fibreglass parts to the body of the car because when the chassis twists the fibreglass and body filler will crack

  8. im not fitting em to reduce drag im fitting em to clean up my engine bay because im going all out on it hiding all the wiring and chroming everything and the fan ruins it so rephrasing my question will having the fans on constantly have any negative effects on the running of the engine apart from this altenator issue?

  13. i never said i was a good driver i never said i was better than him there was so much bullshit about him being this and that and he hasnt proved shit. he makes stupid mistakes almost everytime he gets behind the wheel. IMO hes shit compared to the real front runners in the championship who knows he might get better in time, but atm i think hes got no hope. thats just my opinon
  14. well the way i was looking at it was that the engine fan is on constanatly its always pulling air though the radiator while the engine is on. so im just gonna replace it with a pair of electric ones
  15. yep i have GTR quaters on the rear of my car and a GTS rear bar and it fits perfectly
  16. im asuming your talking about a wheel stud nissan ones are known to be quite fragile at times they can be replaced its nothing major the disc will have to come off and the hub so it can be knocked out and replaced

  18. thanks for the info guys im gonna try and fit a set of WRX ones cause they are very neat and compact they can cool a 500hp WRX with no issues so i guess they should be ok for my car do i have to run it off a thermo switch or can i just have them running all the time?
  19. fibreglass is absolute shit for a road car because no matter how good the job is done it will crack over time there is not way to stop it ive seen widebody kits that have cracked from J Racing in canberra, who do awesome work. the stress of the twisting chassis will always crack the joints
  20. yea i know lol i wanna clean up the engine bay and get rid of as much crap as i can the engine fan looks shit house ive heard of people using thermos instead of the engine fan having over heating issues
  21. ok guys im trying to finalise my engine setup i wanna piss of the engine fan and get thermo fan setup going like on S2000s and WRXs has anyone used a setup like this? how do you reckon it would go on an RB30? wat esle would you guys recommend?
