  1. how much for the boost controller? what brand ect
  2. Cant believe its still for sale at that price D: How much for the bar and side skirts?
  3. Hey guys, i need to replace the upper inner bushing for the front control arms in my R32 gtst. I checked on whiteline.com.au and they only offer bushes for the rear, the only thing for the front is an adjustable kit which will cost ~$300. I can't seem to locate any and the only option appears to be replacing the entire arms themselves just to get the bushes, which is bullshit. Where can i source these parts? Thanks
  4. My friend headed down to Just Jap to get some stuff for his R33 so i gave him some cash to pick me up an intercooler for my R32. I didn't get a chance to look at it until late last night but on the box it has "R33" written on it. Is this gonna fit my car or did they stuff up and give me friend the wrong box?
  5. I got turbo back exhaust. Just trying to decide which path to take atm. I really wanna get an fmic, but if i do that then i definately have to get an ecu. And after that i'm gonna want more and more power because i know i can have it. So it's gonna cost me alot in the long run. Alternatively i could turn down the boost and save my money. But stock power is sooooo boring.
  6. So if down the track i get a cooler, the problem is gonna happen more often?
  7. Wait... are you trying to say that the turbo is ceramic and has steel compressor and turbine wheels?
  8. It runs fine up to the point where it cuts. No misfire. And i think it cuts above 4000rpm. Might have to look at new ecu.
  9. The stock turbo has a ceramic turbine. Don't push it too far because it'll let go alot easier than a steel job. 1.3 bar sounds high to me. I wouldn't push mine above 1 bar, but i might just be over cautious
  10. Hey, I've got a basically stock 92 r32 gts-t. Months and months ago i got a manual boost controller and turned the boost up to about 12-13psi and more recently i got a 3 inch exhaust with split dump and high flow cat. It has always run great and loved to be thrashed. But last week on a f**king cold night, i gave it a hit (once the engine was fully warmed) and as the boost started to build, the engine choked. I lost all power and it felt like i was basically just rolling. I had to come off the accelerator to get the power back. This would happen late at nights and early in the morning when it is incredibly cold, but during the day it runs perfectly. Me and my friend initially thought this was a matter of the stock fuel pump and injectors not being able to match the colder denser air now going into the engine. But the last few days i haven't been able to replicate the problem. It seems to be running fine even on the coldest nights. What's going on? Why did i have this problem one week, but not the next?
  11. Will they fit a stock r32? Or will i have to roll the lips? (I still have no idea what this is)
  12. If you don't mind me asking.... 1) Were you doing something wrong when you were pulled over? If no, 2) Are you on your P's?
  13. If it turns out it wasnt your alarm your starter motor could be cactus. Check that its not your battery by turning on the headlights onto something, so you can see them and if they go out when you try to crank your motor then its your battery. if they stay on and only dim a little then its your starter motor...dont know much about the alarms so i hope this helps
  14. skirts look nice, and it does say "bee-R" in the background if that helps
  15. all the ones i offered are valid, i cross checked them all on the RTA website to see if they were taken
  16. you could get one for front and one for back
  17. GTSDET WNTGTR (hehe) UWNTME RCEBRD HWIROL (i was proud of that one...hmm i should get it for myself :happy:im always saying "thats how i roll" lol)
  18. If we post any up for you its more than likely that by the time you get to the rta someone else will have taken it hehe Anyway every time i think of one its already taken, i just type them into the RTA data base thing and it'll give you something close, but prob completely different....anyway id just recommend typing them into the search and see if you get lucky and it isn't taken
  19. Hey, I've always known that my stock rear suspension isn't up to scratch, but recently under heavy acceleration i feel the back of my car bouncing of vibrating. I was going to put this in the suspension section but wasn't 100% sure that it was suspension related. Any ideas what this is? The car is a 92 model and still has stock suspension.
  20. Build your own one. It's not exactly rocket science. Probably cost you half as much aswell. Just make sure you use a good quality spring and ball bearing which isn't going to rust.
  21. Great cruise dan, and a fun drive home!! definatly worth waking up for hehe cant wait for the next one and the dvd should be great ill have to get one
  22. may also want to get your shock absorbers checked out....does the rear skip around at all when you hit a bump whilst accelerating or under brakes?
  23. Hey dan great idea ill have to be in with my stocker r32gts-t and my big green p plates trying to keep up hehe it'll be my first cruise so should be better than my usual sunday of sleeping untill after midday
  24. got any rear suspension mate cos mines seen much better days? if its not stock suspension then do you have all 4 springs
